Always reminds me of the Fighting Fantasy books. I never finished Masks of Mayhem.

I discovered XKCD about two months ago. I have to say, it's quite possibly the most genius web comic I've ever seen.

This (http://xkcd.com/393/) would be my favorite entry, however.

Very clever comics indeed.  I also read through the whole thing.  I almost didn't make it through the beginning when they were drawn strictly on graph paper and paired with horrible hand writing.  But before I knew it, he started using a computer and the comics became really enjoyable.

Yeah the older comics are hard to read, but some of them are beautiful and/or brilliant. I love the ferret-with-airplane-wings one. :)
