My computer crashed last night, and I reinstall XP Again on the main partition.
Just wondering : Am I the last one who still use and love XP?

What OS do you use the most oftenly?

I'm planning to install Debian on my new lappy, though.

I still use XP mostly, yeah.
The time has come to slowly say goodbye though as more and more game won't run on it.
Assassin's Creed Revelations does, so does Skyrim, but it won't be long until most developers will have dropped XP compatibility.

I really like 7 though so it won't be that bad when I can finally bring myself to organize the 200 partitions on my 100 HDs and restart with a clean system.

I'm still using XP, mainly because I don't want to spend stupid $$$ on upgrading, and there is nothing I want to use that won't work without upgrading, yet.

I use XP mainly because it's faster and less intrusive than the later versions.

I still use XP as well. I'm fairly annoyed that I bought Just Cause 2 without paying too close attention to the requirements, only to later realise that it doesn't support XP. That just seemed stupid.

The one feature of 7 that I've never been able to replicate in XP is libraries (aka virtual directories). That feature alone is my justification for not installing XP on my laptop. Although the point has been raised quite fairly that developers are going to stop supporting it before too much longer.

I still use XP at home. And if Borderlands 2 supports XP, then I'll keep using it. If not, then it will finally be time to upgrade. I'm thinking I'll make the leap to Windows Vista. That's a good OS, right?

I'm sure when I get a new PC though it will have Windows 7 and by trying to put XP on it I will destroy it.

I'm still using XP on the PC.

No monies, time or interest to switch to Win7. Also, besides Just Cause 2 every piece of software I ever wanted supports it.

I think it's safe to assume that 99% of companies won't drop XP support until at least the financial crisis is over.

I no longer use XP (windows 7 on my laptop, desktop and htpc).

Interesting side-note (maybe):

I was at Disney World (Orlando FL USA) a few months ago and was waiting to ride one of their newest rides (the Toy Story 3D shooter thing) and some kid puked in one of the cars so they were swapping it out for a 'backup' car ... as they were moving the backup into place a technician hit the power button (I guess) and when the screen loaded up it was Windows XP.  So the software in the newest Disney ride uses Windows XP.

Fun fact: My newest game (newer than the Disney rides) is being made on Windows XP.

I used Windows 98 from 1999 to 2006, and Windows XP since 2006. I'm always playing or replaying old games and the fear I won't be able to run these old games is mostly the reason why I'm not switching to another OS.

I run all I want with XP (old games, ags) but sometimes I feel like buying a new game and then I know that it's time to buy a new computer.
No money to do it now...

Windows 7 at home and work. I really like it and I can do pretty much everything I want to on it, though I have DOSBox and a virtual PC with Windows XP installed on it just in case. Oh, and a Windows 95 virtual too

I was sticking to XP for a long time. Then I learned, I could get Windows 7 for free via University and decided to give it a try. Never looked back since. My 90s self would hit me for what I'm going to say: Microsoft did a really good job there.
The only problems I get is running some obscure hardware I got via parallel port.

My computer at home is Windows 7, and the 2 computers I use at work are Windows XP.

I had XP until i got a new computer back in September.

Final Doom will not work on my new computer.

I didn't like win7 at first, but after a few months i am getting used to it.

So many people still use XP? I don't think I could ever go back to that from 7. The changes in the UI make a remarkable difference for usability.

Whenever I have to use XP I still try to drag a maximized window with the cursor and get so pissed off when it just stays still. And a windowed one doesn't maximize when I drag it to the top of the screen. How did Windows users ever live without these features? Makes working with multiple windows so much more intuitive without all that additional clicking.

Also the task bar is so much more comfortable. And and and everything.
