Actually, I was just tonight reminded that as my birthday's coming up in a month's time, I'll be able to use Japan's cheap flight deal to go on a holiday to Okinawa if I so desire. So, Vince, you up for Jittens?

Haha.  Hell yeah.  If you do come down to our beautiful island for a visit, we'll have to meet!  My wife and I will take you out for some Okinawa Soba, the best food in the world!  Unfortunately, March is kind of a crummy time to visit Okinawa.  Scuba and beach season is just starting and it's often a bit chilly (the Okinawan definition of chilly: You may have to use a blanket while sleeping), but there's still plenty of stuff to do.

Chilly? I was in Hokkaido last week! I sleep with 4 doonas right now Okinawa at any time of the year will be like summer for me!

Trying to see if anyone wants to come with me right now, before I go making any special plans, seeing as I cane take 3 others. Which island are you on, btw? I'm actually not interested in going to the main city... I've heard most people are really disappointed if they do :/
