Sorry PT for stealing your title.
But I have an announcement of a similar matter. He announced he was gay. I shall announce that i double dip. I swing. For those that don't get puns, I'm bi-sexual. Very interesting moment when I realised this. I was at a movie with my now ex-girlfriend and was checking out a guy in the theatre. Obviously I've known for a while but just not admitted it to myself. But anyway, I have now. How wonderful. :)
Cameron
Congratulations! :D
I just wish all people were as open-minded as the AGS forum members (< as seen in PT's thread). The world would be a better place to live in.
Aww, like i said on msn Cam'. Good luck in telling your friends, i wish you all the best.
:-*
I knew it when I saw your new avatar... Congrats. 100% of the human population is your target now! :D
Hmmm.
Kinda saw it coming...but then again I told myself I was imagining it. I should've known when you showed me those [totally clean, fully clothed] photos. No man with hair that perfect (or that green, now you mention it) could be totally straight.
Well congratulations, I say. Now you've got twice the chance in love that I've got!
The injustice!
[EDIT] And how quaint you should come to realise it while with your ex. I had to admit I didn't dig chicks the day my ex-girl asked me out. Why I said yes will always be a mystery - I'm just lucky she's so perfect and non-homophobic. Otherwise I think I would've lost every male-defining organ that day...
Welcome to the club, Cam ^_^ Expect a lot of gay/straight people to turn their noses up at you.
Seriously, it's cool, I'm happy for you and even happier you feel comfortable enough to say so to everyone. Congrats!
No offense to anyone with that first comment... it's just that it does happen to be quite a bit, so much so that I really hold off from mentioning it to most people. That's just me though.
Geez, I'm sorry to dampen the mood of this thread @_@
Well ... rather than starting my own thread I guess this is as good a time as any to make my own shocking announcement ...
Spoiler
I like Peanutbutter and banana sandwhiches!!
PHEW!! .... what a relief that was.
But seriously my swingin' pal of AGS origin, I hope the 'truth' has set you free.
The people of this community (with a few exceptions) are very open minded ... so if you can't find acceptance in that pesky real world just do what we do and spend WAY too much time in here! Nobody here cares about your sexual orientation (in a bad way I mean) so announcing it doesn't really make a big splash.
Now had you said you like to ritualistically torture small kittens well ...
Already said you this on Msn but congratulations again. :)

That's not true for me. My friend also reads this forum sometimes, so I can't really announce anything I haven't first told him. Well, he is my best friend and all but still I don't want him to know
everything.
I hope Nightwolf's not reading this ;)
Darth, you MONSTER! Oh my god, I can't believe I'm even typing to you... peanut banana man!
You disgust me -_-
What's the point in this thread?
I was under the understanding that everyone in the AGS community was gay.

No no, they're mostly european....easy mistake....

How dare you label us European? >:(

Gays don’t vomit. They’re a very clean people. And they’ve been that way ever since they came over to this country from
France.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but i don't care. Sexuality is never something that has bothered me and i doubt it ever will. Only people (cliche, but true) who are insecure worry about other sexualitys. IF your friends are true friends (cliche again) then they won't give a shit. I know i wouldn't care. So, well dobne for admititng it to yourself, but if your friends react in an "oh my god" way, then its tough shit for them, they don't get the pleasure of your company.
Edit: OMG TEH 1337 PU|\| P0IN3D OUT BY3 J4K3Y, PL345ur3 + S41x3 = HAR HAR
Darth, you disgusting hell-bound abomination! >:(
Cngrtltns.
We need a sticky for people who want to announce their sexual orientations.
Hm, as for a lot of straight/gay people turning up their noses at you (I can't be bothered to scroll up and quote the dude that said it)... while this may be true, geez, I have no idea why. I actually have a thing for effeminate guys. Seriously, I think this is why I totally have a crush on:
[blockquote]1. Nick Rhodes
2. David Bowie
3. Gay People, In General
4. Jack from Will & Grace
5. A Bunch Of Other People I Have Forgotten
[/blockquote]
What's more, I think men wearing lipstick can be kind of sexy. 'Cause it shows they're okay with their sexuality, no matter what it is. I wish there were more bisexual guys in the world, and more effeminate guys, and more candy and love and happiness and I love everything and everything is great and life is great and I wish candy and hearts and love upon an entire nation of love because the greatest thing in life is love and I love love and also I love candy and goddamn I love candy.
Oh FOR SHAME! There is no [blockquote] thingy?! And if there is I'm using it wrong?! For SHAME!!!
Double dip?!?!?!?!?!Ã, :oÃ, For some reason, that saying doesn't sit quite well with me...
Well, congratulations (?) ... I don't know what else to say.
One thing I just don't get... See, I can look at another guy and think, "Yeah, he's a pretty handsome guy", but it doesn't mean I'm checking him out, and it doesn't mean I want to sleep with him... so I guess I just don't get it.
BTW... not to step on your groove, Cam, but are you sure that this isn't just a hormonal thing? (you're only 15-16) A lot of us are confused when we're that age...Ã, Did you really sit down and think about this thoroughly?Ã, I mean, Peter Thomas was gone for a few months before coming back and announcing he was gay...
Off-topic:
What's with all the smack-talking about the french being gay, and being stinky and never showering? Why I oughta...
Good luck in dealing with sexual confusion. Welcome to adulthood, bro!
You know I don't give a shit which door you're swingin' from, as long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else.
Now, where's my copy of "In & Out"......?

Hmm... (http://www.bonsaikitten.com/bkgallery.html)
Okay, a little off topic, but...
Does anyone know if that Bonsai Kittens thing is real? I didn't think it was, and then I got a load of people shouting at me that it was, so then I thought, 'hmm... maybe it IS real...' and so a load of people shouted at me that it wasn't.
Some of those pictures do look quite convincing... but I'm just not sure.
Anyone know?

Mindless Self Indulgence? ...I didn't really realize that until you mentioned it. I retract my previous statement. Maybe you are a swinger, Cam.

We need a sticky for people who want to announce their sexual orientations.
And also for people's food-eating habits, it looks like (without sexual innuendos, that is). Which reminds me:
Spoiler
I don't eat poultry. Seriously. Oh wait, my friends already knew that... but I guess it was time to reveal the shocking truth to the AGS community!
I'm glad you're finding about what you really like, Cameron, but I think we all knew immediately after seeing the avatar. Oh, and stop changing your name!
Doesn't AGS mean All Gay Society? j/k
I really don't care what sexual preferences people have, as long as that makes them happy. I am not the kind of person who gets offended by this.
I myself, enjoy the ladies. But whatever people want to do, that is their choice and nobody should tell them otherwise!!
Being Gay, Lesbian or Bi-Sexual doesn't make anybody less of a person. I've known alot of people like this and they are great people. So i don't know why people judge people on their sexual preferences.
I've heard about something about some gays looking down on bis, it's one of the things the Queer Society at uni says they try to combat, is it something like being bi isn't hardcore enough, like a goth who paints the face and listens to the music, but doesn't mastubate with a cheese grater?
people are strange.
The way I perceive it, that often has something to do with it. I feel like some gay people look down on bisexuals because they think, "You're just confused", or "You're just experimenting"... maybe they think we're trying to have our cake and eat it too, I don't know. Most are fine with it, but I always seem to come across these ones who are really snobby about it, like you're trying to be apart of their club but obviously don't have what it takes. Maybe it's a racial purity thing ^_^
I think it also has to do with the amount of people out there who call themselves bi because they kissed a girlfriend in high school, or something like that. I mean, it's all fine with me here is quite a bit of that out there, and I think some gay people tend to label anyone who calls themselves bisexual as one of those people, not willing to believe that they're just as sure of their own sexuality as your typical homosexual is.
Kinoko's got it spot on.
Most gay people are perfectly accepting of Bi's (not sure why I used a capital...) and understand that if you can like men, or like women, you can probably like men
and women. But there are some who think that it's just a denial thing and that anyone who calls themselves bi hasn't accepted that they're fully fledged gay. And - as unfair as that is - it's not wholly unjustified. There
are a lot of people who call themselves bi just because they want to think they have the 'normal' urges too.
Also true is that there's a huge number of people who think they can call themselves bi ("oooh, what a funky lifestyle-label!") just because they kissed a member of the same sex during a game of 'spin the bottle'. The fact that same-sex relationships hold no appeal and there is no desire to pursue a same-sex partner seems to become irrelevant. Spin The Bottle is like the modern day bible.
As far as I'm concerned, Cam, there's no doubt you...erm...
enjoyed your girlfriend. And just as surely, I know that you at least got
some of the gay genes. So I'd say bi is probably a fair description.
I'm still jealous of you getting twice the love, though. It doesn't seem fair. Hmm, maybe
that's why some people are upset with bi's? Jealousy?
Oh, and Dark of Night:
QuoteDoesn't AGS mean All Gay Society?
I know that's why

being bi isn't a full-time job like being gay is, that's all.

Some people will just take love, affection and orgasms from whoever they can. I say run with it, you sluts!
