I have recently read a book called Halo:The Fall of Reach and I thought it was awsome.

Anyone else read it?

No, I read real books. Real books comprised from Audio, so in a way Audio books. They are a convenient way to enjoy books, it's like your Dad reading you a bedtime story but instead it's some homeless man you've never met before.

On my continuing Non Review of Audio books, I last listened to Richard Matheson's "I am Legend" a science fiction/ horror novel about the Last Man thought to be alive on earth and his struggle with personal loss and the wide spread problem of Vampires. If I were allowed to review this Audio Books I would surely give it 4.7 pies out of 5. A thrilling Story, but the man gets angry a lot which gets a bit annoying at times

Another Audio book I listened to recently was George Orwell's famous novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. It's set in the near future of 1984, where Oceanianana is ran by English Socialism and a whole lot of crazyness ensues. A very good book, but I'm sure people know that already. If I were to review it I would give it 5 out of 5 pies. But if I were to make it even better, it needed some lasers and more explosions.

Best. Quote. EVER!
On topic, though, I really don't want to read books based on a video game. It's like watching the Pokemon show, it's practically just another commercial with a slight plotline.
The fediverse needs great indie game developers! Find me there!

I've heard a lot of good things about the Halo books.

And have you read Uncle Halo and Two Oxen?

Spoiler
It is a common joke among Turkish players. The name of the main character in a village child story is 'Halo', I couldn't resist sharing it.

I've read it (all of them actually), and they're rather good. Only one (The Flood) is actually a novelisation of the game. The Fall of Reach is set just before the first game, First Strike fills in the gap between the first and second games, and Ghosts of Onyx follows the other Spartans activities while Earth is under attack. They're very well done books in their own right, they are only set in the Halo universe, not cheap carbon copies of the games' plot. If you like sci-fi, give them a read, it doesn't even matter if you've played the games or not.
