Title: 5 Days a Stranger.

I 'm kinda stuck... I have these items in my inventory, and I'm not sure what to do next:
-umbrella
-twig
-cord (from the tv)

Is there a walkthrough for this game?

Yeah.

Ok, this guy was playing the game , and he read the 3 books and the article, but he can't get the magic book from the library and he was asking me if this was a bug. I can't remember what I did there when I played it; I got stuck there too as far as I remember.

you need to read the three books, the newspaper clipping, and you need to get and read the newspaper on the table next to the front door, it's right under the phone

I don't know why, but I missed it too...

BTW, thanks for telling me where to get the walkthroughs, I finished the game, and it was f---in' awesome!

I'm confused, what do you do in the basement?  I've tried using the salted bear thing, but it doesn't seem to do much.

hmm... did you hold it over Matthew's bed? To use the salty bear on a stick thingy you have to look at it...

It says it's either not working or what I'm looking for is directly below me.  I've tried it in various parts of the room.  Even looked at the walkthrough, but I still don't get what to do.  Did I miss something somewhere else?

Hold it over the bed in matthew's room!!! (matthew is the boy whose body you are looking for. His room is the one with a small bed and the painting stuff) NOW! >:( :P :)

I have followed the bear all the way to the kitchen but can't seem to find any place where I can use the pick axe on. I have tried the floor and all three walls but to my dismay nothing will work. Someone PLEASE help me out!

Did you look at the old map of the house?
As far as I remember, you first have to see that it's the left wall, which wasn't there in former times.
