Okay, what is it?  I've tried every number and letter combination possible, but none of them work.  I HATE THE CAPTAINS COMPUTER.  It seems the only hint is that he turned 55 lately, but how can I use that?  I've tried to utilize dates, including finding his birthday, but o no avail, someone help me out, plz?

Theres an e mail on the captains computer that talks about his birthday, and yes his birth date is the code. However it is written in the 'american way' ie month before day.

Type 'Date' into the computer and you will get today's date.  You know from the email that the captain's birthday was Monday, and today is a Friday - work backwards from today's date to get the day, then subtract 55 years from the year.  You then have his date of birth.  Use this in the form "ddmmyy" (i.e. NOT the american way).
