I've been following the walkthrough and I have a question. When you first put the magic book and then the first gap you are suppose to press the button. I keep getting its not turned on. What do I need to do next.

Which GAB card are you using?

The first one you get from the witch. The green one. I take the card to the gab machine and insert the card and the magic book in their appropiate slots and when I activate the button the little guy says " I don't think its on" Any help would be appreciated.

Did return things the way you found them?

Take the EXTENSION CORD and climb through the opening in the ceiling on the left. Use the extension cord in the socket there and walk to the right. Use the extension cord in that socket as well so it’s back the way you found it.
