I just started to play this game. I do not understand the controls of the game. How do you pick things up for starters? thanks in advance

The game is verb coin driven.
To pick something up:
- Move your mouse over the item.
- Right click over the item and keep the right mouse button down.
- Move the mouse button over the hands of the coin (or eyes/mouth).
- release the mouse button.
