Any idea how to get out of the cage?
I have lettuce, carrots, coin, metal bar, rubber duck, and opened can of monkey feed. I've put the curtain in the cell up and down. Can't pick up the fur in the cage. Have talked to the snake. Can't talk to the man standing outside the cages.

did you talk to the snake you'll find out he doesn't like rabbits.
use the opened can of food with the duck
use the duck with the fur, it will make a rabbit lol
show the rabbit to the snake.
Thats as much as I have figured out maybe you will be able to figure out more from here

I also dropped the coin outside the fence and a janitor picked it up but nothing happened after that, was i supposed to do something?-Actually the coin didn't work at first so i went click crazy and placed the lettuce outside the fence, then the janitor sequence said it was his lucky day because he found a coin but then i still had the coin in my inventory-maybe this is a bug?
I couldn't even figure out how to drop anything out of the cage! Please let me know!!

I am not sure whats happening in this game, first of all I used the coin with the fence, then used the lettuce leaf either with the fence or the coin, anyway the lettuce leaf was on top of the coin, next thing a guard came along and began raking, he raked it up, found my coin then game returned and I was still in my cage and my coin was on the ground outside cage and monkey said Oh he must have had a hole in his pocket.
So I picked my coin up again. Then got another lettuce leaf and used it on the fence without the coin this time, guard came along again and he began raking again, and once again he found a coin, even though I had not put the coin outside the fence (I still had it in my inventory) lol. I am still stuck in the cage. I don't know if the game is buggy or what. You can pick up more lettuce if the guard has raked it up. So I don't know whats going on.

How do you use the metal bar on the guard? I put the lettuce outside the fence, guard comes along and rakes but I can't do anything in that screen because the little timer thingie is always up. I also have a lettuce leaf stuck to the gate lol

I put the lettuce outside the fence and I didn't get any guard come, So there must be a bug in this game. And I tried putting down the curtain and using the bar on the fence/gate, nothing happens., Oh well, off to another game.
The Solution To The Cage PuzzleRead below if you are stuck in the cage:

The idea is to drag the guard to a place which;
1. Nobody would see his body if you hit him. (This is the area by the cage door)
2. The Guard himself is distracted by something. (Use the coin on the lettuce that you place there -the fence by the door-)
3. The Guard to the east won't see you hitting him. (Turn on the cover)
Now you should drag the guard to go there by doing the following:
1. Put a lettuce by the cage door. (By putting a lettuce on the fence in that area)
2. Put the coin by the cage door.
3. Put a lettuce by the upper right corner if the cage.
4. Put a lettuce by the westren side of the cage.
5. Put a lettuce by the lower right corner of the cage.
6. Put a lettuce at any place -fence- in the front of the cage. (To get the guard's attention)
When he kneels down to pickup the coin hit him with the metal bar.

use the key to get out the door. You also need to know where your family are before you can get out, use carrot on snake and he will tell you.
I got out but can't go anywhere, tried going over the bridge but he won't go any further.

Now I am having a problem, when I try to load my last saved game it freezes up and I have to turn my computer completely off and on again. Have tried it three times now and same thing always happens

Trying to get rid of that annoying boy who's following me... I went back to the cage and he seems to go into the rest house. Ã, I made the cover come down and tried to walk out (hoping the boy wouldn't see me to follow) but the monkey just stops walking part way round the cage, cursor changes to the timer one, and nothing happens. Ã, I've tried this twice and the same thing occurs.
Of course, this means I've no idea how to get rid of that little kid! Ã, Anyone managed it yet?
Joyce - reloading a save game, you have to click Play afterwards on the top left menu. Confused me too! I restarted the game the first two times!!
I haven't had any problems loading a game up until now. As soon as I try with my last saved game, Ã, the timer thingie comes on and I can't do anything and I have to reboot. Have tried numerous times and its so annoying because you haven't turned windows off properly so it has to go through the scan disk.
Use the setup to have the game run in window mode .so if it locks you can close it by clicking the X
Thanks Candle, I guess I could try that, but it means starting over again doesn't it, and running it in a window will make it so small, might be hard to see the hotpoints (well for me anyway) as I was having a hard time with the big screen
No you just change the size of the window , you don't start over and set the screen for 640x480 .

I got rid of the little boy by using herbs which i found on the next screen and then asking the snake what they were and then mixing the correct one with the canned food then giving it to the little boy while he is in the dog house.
And now i am stuck again!!! Please help!

I got the popcorn after i got rid of the boy, then on the gate scene i used the copper wire on the vending machine once i turned it off but i don't know what to do next. I turned on the machine but he said it still didn't work so i don't know what else to do. Maybe i missed something...Help! Please.

I found the switch on the back of the vending machine and i got the machine on, i put the penny in and got the coke to come out (i can't pick it up though) and i hooked up the copper wire...what do i do now?

so strange, this happens to me also. But, then I go into the game as new game and once in it, I reload my old game. Crazy..............I thought it was my computer.....

I talked too soon. Went back in and did what I said about going in as a new game and then reloading, but I am now back in the cage, talked to snake about what herb to use, put it with monkey chow and the kid is nowhere to be found and my screen freezes and I have to ctr. delete to get out of game. timer comes on and thats the end of this game. too frustrating....

Try Alt-X to abort game without rebooting.
Sorry for the bugs in the game! It's really strange though cause I've tested it a few times, and I didn't have a problem!
I'll try to fix it ASAP.

I'm not sure how I did it... either double or right clikcing, but somehow I changed the popcorn into just dry corn.... but I don't know what to do with it!

I was just coming in here to tell you that. Put popcorn on popcorn and you get dried hard popcorn. Do you want to know what to do next????? You have to use something from your inventory to put the dried popcorn in. Then you have to get in the right position to use it. After that is done, the game is over. Yeah......I finished it. Very short game......
If you get stuck, I will give you all the answers, but I don't want to ruin it on you. You can do it....

I put the wire on the vending machine, clicked on switch and it said power is on, tried putting penny in slot and it keeps saying machine is not working. So I picked up the metal bar to hit the darn thing and now I can't get rid of the metal bar!! lol So had to quit, just hope I can reload again. Game is also freezing on me lots of times. So how do I get the machine to work to get a coke?
Its okay, I figured it out and finished the game.
i need help i can't seem to pick up the wire after i have got the can so i can't throw the popcorn/metal bar at the guard

are you talking about the wire you fixed the vending machine with, I don't remember having to pick that up again, I don't think you need it, but its been a few weeks from I have played this one so maybe some of the others will remember. Maybe if you tell me what you think you need the wire for it will jog my memory
well it says the monkey can throw the popcorn stick at the guard bcos its too far so i read other peoples replies and they seemed to pick the wire up again this may be wrong though

- Turn the switch on and turn the power jack on (When both are open the vending machine light will turn on)
- Put the penney in the slot
- Connect the wire with the vending machine/power jack (after turning off the machine)
- Turn on the machine and the power jack
- Use the pop corn bag with Limby, by click on it in the inventory and
then clicking it again on the corn bag
- Use the dry corn with the 'Hollow' Metal Bar -as a shooter-
- Go behind Micky Mouse statue ...
- Use the 'Loaded' metal bar with the guard
- The guard will come out and once he sees the Cola can he'll pick it up...
i did all of what you just said and it didn't work it just said although i love hacking things at the guards head i won't be able to throw it that far its just a metal bar and the dry popcorn right or am i missing something?

You don't have to do anything while the guard is picking up the cola in the vending machine. Read below carefully ...

- Turn the switch on and turn the power jack on (When both are open the vending machine light will turn on)
- Put the penney in the slot
- Connect the wire with the vending machine/power jack (after turning off the machine)
- Turn on the machine and the power jack

I have dropped all the lettuces and coin, pulled the curtain down, hit the guard and it just says that people can see from different directions, but the coin is still there. I've tried a few times, using the hints from this forum. Nothing is working. Please help! Is there something else I need to do? I made the rabbit monster and talked to the snake already. I can't seem to do anything else.
