i have been stuck on it for a while now anyone know  a walkthrough

Well, I didn't write a walkthrough myself, so if no-one else did, there isn't one, sorry. :-\
Tell me where exactly you are stuck and I'll tell you what to do.

Oh, and if I have time sometimes I will write a walkthrough, I promise.

well i got the basket with cloth iv done that part with norah but i cant find the driver

if you still need a hint, here is what you have to do:

Put the basket with cloth back where you took the basket from. Go to the place where Norah got hit. Take the laquer. Smell on the laquer. The dog will find the way to the driver. To make sure he has found the right car just smell on the car.

After the accident I consulted Paul, now I'm stuck - the butchen throws me out each time I go in - the baker gives me a cake, Rex will eat it after a while but he won't pick up the lacquer even though I have the basket with me. What now ?

You can only pick up one item. Put back the basket where you took it from and take the laquer. It should work.

After being trapped I jumped outta the window. Now it seems like Rex is trapped in the window - means he still can't walk anywhere - a bug ?

It should be possible to walk when you jumped outa the window.  Click somewhere on the left top of the screen. You can't see the dog for some time

I figured out that you have to bite the man first after that you have to hurry up to get out or he will kill you when he comes back. you bring the meat to the police officer and after that you... ?

after that you visit Norah in the hospital (It's a little bit difficult to find. Next to the backer the streets that points north.
