Ace Quest-not the demo

I couldn't find this answer in any other  posts..
At the fair, I have the glitter/gum ball, but can't seem to use it.
Have the lamp, stamped fairground pass, gym membership, knife, underwear, puke, magnet w/condom which I can't seem to use either.
Got rid of the rollercoaster man, the water gun man, and the clown.
Stuck at this  point, any ideas?

Use the condom-magnet to warp around the end of the battery I think.

It's quite a long time I can't remmeber well, I just quote from the walkthrough.

You have to charge the magnet with the battery. Be patient and try until you do so.
