How do I draw blood from the basilisc?

I hit it with the brick already, but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Someone mentioned an arrow, but I wouldn't know where to get one.

Ok you need to get another arrow, use your tickets on the man at the pony then look at the pony it  should say theres something up the ponies rear...

Use hand on pony and get an arrow.

Use the magic pebbles to save you a rather long walk back to the wizard.

Then go to the basilisk and poke it with the arrow.

Go back to wizard and give him the blood.

I have put the wiener in the bow and tried to throw it to the hungry gargoyle but it always says I'm too far...
