how do i get rid of the giant lemur I already talking to it but all it does is stamps on the ground and then nothing after that and i already tried every on the chandilier and the lemur have i missed anything???

It might sound strange but the quickest way to bring up the solution for that 'puzzle' is doing nothing

I'm completely stuck and can't find any help on the forums.  Here's my inventory:

I have the comm key, pruning shears, squash with a face on it and the silver dollar stuck to it, bag of chile powder, alcoholic drink, red bingo dauber, striped glove.

What do I do?

There is one point in the game where you can choose an answer, this might change your path:

the answer you give on the old man's question if you are infected

There are a couple of things you can do during the game that affect later events in a very minor way.

Giving the wrong answer to Jimmy

adds a new puzzle to solvey and changes the solution to another puzzle, but it doesn't change the overall outcome of the game (except for the addition of a line or two of dialogue).
