Since you've already talked through the door, you 'should' be able to use the hand and go in.....
i try to pick up the pen but owt happens at the start.

Remember, certain things have to happen to 'trigger' the ability to do other things, make sure you talk to the nurse.....

Did you pick up the papers at the right of the desk? If so, 'read' them from your inventory, then use your hand on them. There's another page behind it.

Did a new location pop up after you spoke with they guy in the photo studio? You 'may' want to go back to your apartment and check the mail, again..... then, check your inventory......
I've got the same problem as quasar. Tried every icon on the wooden doors, and get nothing back but "it sounds like somebody's in there" Is there some tiny hotspot that I'm missing?

Again, it's very important to exhaust all conversations AND look and interact with EVERYTHING. Sometimes, the 'smallest' thing can be the 'trigger' you need.

I have no idea why you can't get through that door, Quasar..... try looking through the window, look at and pick up the wine bottles, EVERYTHING.....maybe that will trigger your being able to get in. I wish I could be of more help to you! I was able to get in once I talked to the door...
I have no idea how to get to the bar. I got my personal note that i have to go to the corner of some streets but i got no option to visit the bar. Can anyone give me a hint? I think i tried everything in my apartment and in the hospital. I also don't know waht to do with the guy in the small office. Talked to him and interacted with the photo of the Baby. Also ngot a note, that he is related to cherry.

First, pick up the photo of Lauren in the apartment bedroom, on the nightstand. Then, look at it in your inventory. After that, talk to the pub door, and you will get the ok to enter.

I have the same problem as Ndougou. It seems logical that a new spot should appear on my map, but it does not. Is that a bug. Or did I (or we) forget something, that should trigger this option. Do I have to find the additional 500 Dollars for the rent to get the letter first?

Ok, I think I may have sorted it...
Make sure to touch the yellow pages twice. Depending on the order in which you uncover things, the first time you touch it, you may only get Rob's office and not the bar. The second time, you should uncover the bar, if you've done below.

Bug Alert
We found a small bug that you should be aware of when playing (thanks Ndougou and Bird).
Regarding the yellow pages phone book, do NOT use the notes directly on the book. Interact with the book (with the hand) instead. Otherwise, you will be unable to view an important room in the game.
It was a result of a typo in the script (a "lose" instead of "add", urgh), but it only occurs if the note is used in place of the hand.
The later zip version will not have this bug. So sorry for the difficulty this caused anybody!

Do you have the third answer (the nickname)? If not, try talking to Rob again, and visiting the nurse at the hospital.
The wine with the question mark is just because it's the bartenders guess, but its a correct one.
Also, with the laptop, you have to click two or three times in sequence to progress (typing in the answers).

Those are the right answers, so you shouldn't need to talk to anyone else. At that point, it should be that the laptop clicked three times in succession should get you to the next stage...
If that doesn't work, and its not too much trouble, we can also look at the saved game just in case there's some error.

Get the cellphone off the kitchen table. Interact with it in the inventory, until you get Rob's message. Then use the yellow pages.

Since this is your 2nd post and if you used notes on the yellow pages, you might have encounted a bug.
Then replay game but simply use "Hand icon on the yellow pages instead notes.
If nothing work then I don't know!

I simply restarted the game (It is not tooo much to replay) and did NOT use the note directly on the yellow pages. I simply interacted with the yellow pages. Then everything worked fine and i could proceed up to the end of the game. ;)

I tried this twice (replaying from the beginning) and I never used my notes on anything (only hand). Still have the same problem: I cannot walk into the bar, after invitation to come in. I am just going to move on to another game I guess. A game can be awesome, with 3D graphics, good storyline, fun jokes, etc.. but silly little bugs like this make all that effort meaningless.

I got the picture of Lauren, I speak to his father at the bar, he says I can come in. But when I touch the door it tells me there's someone inside, when I walk near it nothing happens, when I try to talk to the guy again it says that the door is unlocked. WHAT TO DO??
Did you have a good look at the picture? Is her name mentioned at the door?
Yes. At the door the main character says "I'm looking for LAUREN, she might be in danger", and the guy at the door, after a while, says that I can come in, if it's for his daughter... But no way, I'm trying with foot and hand and doesn't work... :-\
Daphoenyx, perhaps you need to do a few other things before you can enter the bar.

Thanks for making the walkthrough, first of all! But no, I read it carefully and I did every single thing...
I also read all the messages in this thread and found out that also other people had the same problem...

I couldn't solve the problem but Leon emailed me a saved game which was "right" exactly at the point I was. So i could finally open the door and just finished the game.
