I've looked all over the hints section and I'm stuck in a part of the game:

When I'm supposed to fin wood for the fire, I go to the cave and there's nothing to do there...I don't know what to do...

did you talk to the ranger enough? he might have something useful.. then try focus on how you are going to be able to see down the hole in the cave

I'm stuck too. I have the compass and rifle in my inventory andhen I try to talk with ranget Rick, Ben says, "I'll let you set up
camp."
