Not completely different but the main puzzles are different enough that the walkthrough won't cover this.

To be honest, the one part of the game that got me stumped was getting the boy out of the tub. It didn't dawn on me to hand him over the prospector's car keys until I got desperate! Since I've lost one point, I'm sure there's a better way to do it.

The car keys are the right way. To get that last point you have to give the silver bowl back to annie before giving the Moonshine to the prospector

The 'standard' version (max 205 points) is completely different from the 'deluxe' version (max 82 points). The story is similar but the puzzles and objects used are different.

You need to get him away from the trophy.
He's afraid to get out because of his mother so get her out of the way first. Talk to her and he'll tell you what she wants.

I've got the the point where I've found George Roberts, but I can't seem to find a way of getting him out of that cell... only have the silver bowl, George's notes and a bit of sail, nothing seems to do anything - is there an item on deck somewhere I've missed?
