Ok, i dont know whats going on here, as stuck at the very beginning - even after following the first part of the walkthrough, nothing happens....

Ive picked up the robe, exhausted dialogue with Simon, looked at the tv and switched it on, read the newspaper, gone to the police station - but when trying to talk to the sargent, all i get is 'Good day to you sir' and nothing else - cant show him my card either. Help ? Theres nothing else to do!!

There are two talk icons..... Make sure you are using the one with the ? . That is the one for asking questions and talking to

You are probably using the ! one

Hi Rosie,

The term 'easter egg' when used with regard to adventure games refers to some hidden event that can be activated by performing a certain action. It isn't usually something that you will come across by playing through a game with just the main objectives in mind, you often have to go looking for it or it may be activated through doing something a bit random.

Personally, I think in this case its got something to do with:

the trophy that you get when you win on the TV show, because the game creator said that you have to have full points to activate the easter egg, and also because you don't need to use it for anything in the game.

Thank you..... I have the full 108 points, so I will see what I can figure out.....But the game is over so......

Ok went back into my last save with the wire, and I can's seem to do anything with the trophy because I only get the full amount of points after I clamp the exhaust and then the door opens and cut scene to hospital and then ending. So I guess we will have to wait to see what if any egg there is.

you do use it if you go to to Yamamoto's building with Simon. Try playing the game again from the point where Simon asks if you want him to go with you.

Oh, I bet you use it instead of the metal door with the wire to get into the other room......... Didn't think of that......I will try it.

As far as your points, I found that if I didn't ask all the questions that came up to ask, you dont get all the points. So you have to ask everything there is to ask for each person

well that didn't work. I used the trophy on the door instead of the metal and nothing....No Easter Egg..........

When you choose to take Simon with you to Yamamoto Inc., you can get the metal that he needs to hack the keypad by opening and closing the door of the AC unit 3 times. This is the way that I did it originally and it sounds to me like Rosie did it that way too.

However, since you have discovered this alternative way of providing the metal, I think it is now less likely that the trophy is involved in activating the easter egg. This is just my opinion, based on the fact that it has a legitimate use in the game and also because, in a desperate bid to see whatever the easter egg has in store, I have been to all the locations and tried to use it with just about anything I can. :'(

Anyway, I've long since given up on trying to activate the easter egg, I just keep checking back here every now and then in the hope that someone has figured it out or Grundislav has decided to spill the beans.

Hooray, got it (after having it practically gifted to me but who cares about that little detail?)

The following spoiler just contains my thoughts on the easter egg, don't read it if you haven't seen it yet and you want it to be a complete surprise.

What with five days worth of, erm, excess baggage stored up, that could have been a much messier scene had Ben managed to keep his balance just a few seconds more!

Oh and you have no idea how long I've been waiting to see Ben Jordan's ass (not very long at all thankyou very much!

About the Easter egg...

OK, I've tried putting things I no longer need in the various trash cans that there are around the game... the one in the restroom and the one in Shinobi's, but I that doesn't work.

I tried using the toilet at the start of day 5, but I got the usual message there.

I think one of those two things will trigger the Easter egg, but the question is, when should I do them? The end of the game is too late, and the start of day 5 seems to be too early.
