Funny, I got stuck at the same spot and immediately realized the solution when I read your question:

Just spell BJ with your own food order (Blood Sausage, Jaffa Cakes, no dessert) and put it in the dumbwaiter.

According to Francisco (said it himself on facebook) there are 4 endings plus a secret one. I'm trying to figure out which are those endings as we speak. Once I'll know more, I'll write it.
yeah i did but it says nothing was found
By the way, has anyone found a use for

Thepr: Yup, I thought he did. I'm playing the game again with commentary so maybe I'll find something too...
The Hero: Really? Thats weird. Maybe typo? I'd suggest to try one more time...
Glad everyone is enjoying the game so far (I hope!)
As far as the endings, there are 4 depending on 2 variables:

1. Whether or not you kill Genovese
2. Whether or not you follow Alice into the crypt.
There is also the secret ending, and thepr is on the right track for that one...

And we're glad you made this series, Grundi. Case 8 is amazing!

What I know (I might be wrong) about it is that

it has something to do with that dog-head shaped key and you can only get it if you go and meet Alice in the cemetery
I'll try to figure out the rest.
Sorry if this has been asked, but I don't want to spoil myself by clicking through the hints above.

If you look into the relief above the Notre-date cathedral door, you may notice some carved people in some sort of "holy dog pile". This could be a significant hint, yet my all attempts to use the dog-head shaped key on it have been failed. Besides, I couldn't find any fittable keyhole for it throughout the whole game. I hope the secret ending reveals the truth, like some detailed stories about poor Antonia (maybe the little girl with black pussy shown at the bombing cutscene?) and Genovese's penitence for what he has done. Of course, it might not go well as I excpect to be. It could also be some funny one related to a dog. Anyway, I just can't wait to see the last, tempting ending.

I fished it out of the drain outside the hotel in Paris, using the unwound coat hanger ...still can't find anything to do with it, however - and the only reference to dogs I've seen is the dog pile Ben describes when looking at the topmost carving on the door to Notre Dame.
The Hero, I'm not sure which part of the problem you were asking hints for in your earlier post, but just in case you need the latter half, here it is:
Spoiler
To get inside the old lady's house, first you need to knock on the door with the piece of wood (you don't really need the brambles yet) just like fatmike006 told in the previous post. Then, when she opens the door and won't let you in, you need to block the door with your hand so she can't get it shut.
To all you people having trouble with the secret ending: I still haven't figured it out, either, but here are some random thoughts I had on it. Some are quite far-fetched, as I'm getting pretty desperate here. :) At least this hopefully saves someone else the trouble of trying out these silly ideas.
Spoiler
So, I just finished re-playing the whole game with the commentary on, and as entertaining as it was, it really didn't offer much clues as to what the secret ending could be. One small detail that caught my the eye second time around was the AGW graffiti outside Madame Tilly's shop. The statues in the Sacre Coeur crypt were A, D and G, so I was hoping I might simply find there something with W to end the sequence with, and maybe reveal something where the dog-headed key fits, but eventually I found nothing. I also tried A, G and S (Sacre Coeur itself) for AGS, but that didn't work out either. :) As I said before, this is getting pretty far-fetched.
I also found it quite strange in the flash-backs that the local butcher's family can afford a fancy crypt, but I couldn't figure out anything new in Arthur & Percy's adventures. What keeps bugging me most is the underlined name Butacu in the tree that can also be found at the graveyard, but maybe it really doesn't mean anything.
I also tried figuring out the dog-pile mural, but didn't really get anywhere with that. If it's not a red herring, I guess there's something we need to find before going to Notre Dame to do anything with it.
I think Grundislav really enjoys himself while reading this forum. I hope you're happy man, you just woke up the nerds in us :))

Ordered the drink three times, fourth time I pass out and the game ends. Is the glass needed for anything?
Asked about the meals ordered and used the meals on the dumbwaiter but not sure which meal works. I tried the shepherd's pie and jaffa cakes since the bartender mentioned them, but not sure what to do for desert as I think I tried the 3 choices but got no result when putting the meal in the dumbwaiter. Tried talking to the door in the backroom and to the window outside the pub.
Spoiler
Focus on the dumbwaiter and the info on what the guy above ordered. No special items are needed.

I know I'm probably just being an idiot here (it took me nearly an hour to work out how to straighten the coat hanger :-\), but can anyone give me a hint as to how to get rid of the 'cataflic' guy? I can't work out how to get past him... arrrgh!
Cheers.

Spoiler
You need to distract him. If only you could fool him into going to look through that extra doorway...

The answer to this is actually a kind of a pixel hunt; I also missed it the first time. In the second intersection there are some pebbles on the ground. Once you find them, you can just throw them through the doorway and the cataflic guy will follow the sounds, but those pebbles are really, really easy to miss. I think this was probably one of the hardest parts of the game.

Are the jaffa cakes the only one I got right? I didn't see pheasant, quiche, and juice, or quail and jellies, or prawns and quesadilla listed on the menu. Also when the bartender said he ordered the pie does he mean the shepherd's pie or is he talking about something else? Everything I've tried putting in the dumbwaiter just comes back down empty.

Unfortunately (for you :)) this puzzle is all made out of red herrings and the challenge lies in noticing what is actually important in the orders. HINT: Take notice that the bartender specifically mentions they don't have even half of the stuff the guy in the room above ordered.

Finally solved this one thanks
Spoiler
I sent up the blood sausage and jaffa cakes without any desert and got a key. Since I didn't see the sausage in the list of ordered food that was the one was giving me problems
Feeling stupid here, but what i should do after the sewer part, in the beginning of the 'OSSUAIRE' place?
AMFS:
Spoiler
In the second crossroads, before the Ossuaire, just look around for clues similar to the ones that led you through the sewer part. In general, it's a good idea to examine that whole room very carefully.
Thanks.
Stuck again in the pub, still on day one.

The task is now to find "weird locations" for the guy in the bar. Am I correct in assuming that I'm to use the computer in the library to look something up?

No, just go for a walk and do some pixel-hunting.
Having a lot of fun playing the game--but I'm stuck at a spot and I think my problem may be that I missed an item. Help is appreciated! Non-direct help is even better, but I could use a nudge. :)
Spoiler
I'm in the car chase with Otto--I've figured out I can toss magazine pages on the pursuing car, but that's not enough to get rid of them, and nothing else I have has any effect. My inventory is money, the magazine, the Coach & Horses key, and Rosenquist's business card.
Nevermind! I got it! :)

sorry, I just realized that you've figured it out already...
just out of curiosity how to delete the reply to the message? I can't seem to find any appropriate button for that action
Good game, got through all the endings and thanks for all the hints, just one thing though
Spoiler
was there no way to avenge Simon? I felt kind of bad just letting Max go after he killed my best friend. Some sort of comeuppance would have been nice.

By the way, has anyone found a use for Spoiler
the dog-head shaped key
?
Where do you find that? From the description I would assume that it's for the

door in the ossuary
Never mind...someone posted where to find it...got and I know where to use it.
