I can't seem to get to the end of part one. I have completed the recipe and gone back to her apartment, but the game won't let me use the recipe on the photo of her parents on the desk. It keeps saying something like "I'm not going to ruin my photo with this stuff, there must be another picture I can use it on." I don't understand. This is the only photo I've found in the game. I read somewhere where someone was able to "get the photo" early in the game, but every time I've tried to pick it up she says "It's just fine where it is"

Have you gotten a package of old letters to your aunt yet? Clicked through them all? At the end you should find a photo of yourself as six year-old, which is then added to your inventory...

I got the package, clicked through them all, there was no picture. the graphics on my game are so low I can't even make out what the letters say. I'll check that again. Thanks.

Ok, I'm having a really hard time w/the flower.  I try to pick on at the park and it's saying Why would I want to pick these flowers?  And I thought maybe taking the easel but it's still wet...I'm utterly stuck..

I am stuck also, I can't seem to get the occult book do you know where to find it?

What is your resolution set to?  if it's set to 320 x 200, yes I'd imagine the letters would be impossible to read.

You should be able to click through the letters until you get to the photo.  Just keep clicking on the right side of each letter (so the hotspot "Next" pops up) and you'll find it.
