If anyone has played this can they tell me if there is a bug in the game.Ã,  Everytime I click on doors I walk up the hall and go in the opposite direction of where I want to go?

Yes, the pathfinding in this game seems to be a bit off.  Have you made any progress?  I'm pretty well stuck myself.  I have

outside key, portrait, knife, scissors, and portrait key.  However, the portrait key won't open anything.  Cafeteria, janitor's closet, and second classroom just won't open.

I am terribly sorry about that, it is a bug in the game. I am currently working on Bob Goes Home Deluxe which has heaps better graphics (by Krysis) and hopefully no annoying glitches like this.

I'm stuck at the end. I have the final key but bob wont open the door with it. He keeps walking to the other side of the room. Doesnt he want to go home??  :P

you sure you have the right key?

In that case, you probably have the wrong door...

Bob gets out through the door outside to the left of the janitor, not the front door of the school.  Try the key you just found on that door.
