Silent Knight 2

I'm at the beginning of Silent Knight 2, and can't figure out how to get a map so that I can enter the city.

Get the rock next to the fence, throw the rock at the window to the left of the fence, and pick up the broken glass.  Use the broken glass to cut the rope but make sure you do it when the salesman is looking the other way.  Pick up the map, aldo pick up the rope.
