I think I got it now...Now The Chicken Feather Conundrum. How do those things come out, Bog always keeps saying he'll break the feathers if he tries to pick them up.

After you cross the icy river when you walk to the right through a forest, I can't remember exactly how many screens over it is but maybe about half way through forest you can go up (North) this is where the hole is. When you put the rock, then go back to icy river to where the same little creature was and you should be able to pick up the ring.
You use the nuts later to leave a trail for this little creature to encourage him to go somewhere else

My brain got fried when I was playing this game lol, and now its fried again trying to remember, so I had a peek at the walkthrough, and it says go to the igloo (thats inside the mountain, after going over the carcass) and pick up the feather, have you tried that one? I didn't think I got my first feather there though, of course it might depend on what version of the game you are playing maybe? I know wretched changed some things I don't know if this is one of the things he changed or not. I think I got mine by going into the forest where you left the fairy, you can go up in that scene, have you been there? I have a feeling I got my feather up there. Of course I could be totally wrong LOL

I am quite confuzzled here. Yes, I feel you on the brain being fried thing as after a long day at work then eating a bag of Cheetos for dinner...and I'm STILL up playing this game. lol. I visited the igloo, clicked that switchy thing a few times but I don't think it did anything. Took the crystal then put it back. After I figure out how to get him back down, guess I better take Bog around where the feathers were and figure out where the first pick-up-able one is! And I have no clue what version of the game it is either.

I think I played the latest version that wretched did, I still have game on my computer so I went back and I had a saved game just after I had left the magnum down with the cold guy, I went back to the igloo and there was a feather lying on the ground at the door of the igloo and I was able to pick it up, so if its not there in your game you gotta be playing an older version maybe?

The first feather is dropped at the witches house. If this has already been used then go to the tree above the faery and talk to the pink bird again to restart the chicken race

I finally figured out how the feathers work: And I got my first one in the Faery's forest on the tree above that screen, when the chicken race started-- I didn't get one at the witch's house or Igloo! The fetahers basically work like teleporters after you get the bird whistle, I got that all down pat.

Is 2.72-something the latest version? Because that's what's available on Wretched's site and what I've been playing.......and I am now at the part past the Demon Bridge with the Spiders. After I made the baby spiders go away....if I go through the door I get a system error!! :o NOTHING has worked to help this so far.

Are there any patches available for the game? Or is there an upgraded version available elsewhere for download? Please help!

Sorry about that, there was a bug there in the very very first version but that has long since been fixed. You could try going into the Manual and changing the 'Slow Computer' flag. If that fails PM me and send me a saved game with the error. It should be mentioned that if you change the version you are playing you can't use any of your old save games, they might appear to work, but this sort of crash can be caused by that.

I tried the Slow Computer option...still quit out on me!

I've only had this version of the game, I never had any of the older ones. I don't know what keeps causing it, but I really wanna finish the game!

I've talked to the snake and crab and the cyclops in the area where Borg first lands, gone to the moon, and seen that moon bug. I've also gone to the sea and talked to Death, the faery, the worms and the crab. Well, I still don't know what next to do. I also went to the sun and in the forest, there are things to go get. Well, I am still really stuck.

Well I almost got to the end of the game but now I think I have the wrong version.Ã,Â Great game... very frustrating but challenging.Ã,Â I've tried to figure out what version but have no clue... it's not in the manual that I can find and there is no readme file.Ã,Â I read somewhere that the newest version has the weeds lit up on the back cover.Ã,Â I don't have lit weeds on the back of my manual... Actually, I don't have a back to the manual.Ã,Â Would appreciate a little help on this from wretched if possible or a link to the final version... Steve

I have the reverse beelzebub bubble... I have the clean fishbowl but when I throw the bubble at the twin devils nothing happens.Ã,Â I've been everywhere but past the bridge I think.Ã,Â I even went to the island but didn't get the plunger... although I know where it is... no one seemed to like that ending... Can anyone tell me where the chain is in the Island? Someone said that it was in the left hand side amongst the flowers, but I've been clicking all over them for ages but still haven't managed to find it.

Never mind found it. Finished the game at last! Wretched is a genious! I'm currently playing the 3D sequel, which is also pretty impressive. I hope there's another full-length sequel to this game!

That's a lot of questions. Some of the things are too far away from each other. I suggest you read the WALKTHROUGH. I can't give you the solutions because I don't remember all of them. But I can tell you what needs to be done.

1. You have to get the eye out, to do that you need the jewel from the severed fingers next to the ghouls.

2. To make Reddude hungry you need to find the bellows. The bellows are in Beethoven's house. But first you need to get the ear-trumpet thing on the sun, which is where the eye comes in (you'll also need to get the megaballoonfish to take the bait [see 3]). Beethoven's house can be found after a tunnel linked to Brian's cave. The cave is blocked, so first you have to help the termite queen. Go up the thick vine in Brian's cave to find her.

3. To get the megaballoonfish you need to use the bones on the hook. For that you need Kilroy's snot. To get to the earhorn you need to use Kilroy's farting talents.

If you're still stuck after you managed to the above stuff then come back.
