I know you don't give hints but can you just answer this,

I used the shell to pick up the magma and now I can't go to the moon and down into the sea to get back to climb the vine, because it says my magma will cool off in the sea,I thought maybe magma was to melt the snow on roof up there behind golden gate.Ã,Â Am I stuck, should I not have picked up the magma yet??

Thanks wretched, at least I know I am not stuck because I did something wrong, just stuck because I don't know what to do next LOL.
I have got pretty far on I think so I guess I should turn on the
slow computer thingie now just in case.

Vine? I can't find a dang vine! Also, I try to talk to the big balloon creature and it says that he can't hear me. One more thing, I have the "calling card"......the bones you're talking about, is that the tail with the bones sticking out? I can't combine them and neither will go on the hook!

Are you talking about the vine that you have to plant? I can't remember exactly but try down where the guy is cooking bacon in around the vines, maybe somebody else will remember better LOL.
You have to talk to the big balloon guy up near his face otherwise he can't hear you. Wait until he floats down a bit and then try talking nearer to his face.
The tail is not the bones, you have to get through the dark forest to get the bones, and you can't do that until you bring the fairy to the forest and she lights the way for you. Yes the calling card is to stick the bones to the hook (once you get the bones)

What guy cookin' bacon??? Also, I can't remove the knife from podium. Is there anything 'special' about the "face" at the bottom of the hill? I've walked everywhere and the only 'vines' I can see are the ones that the fairy is swimming around and I can't do anything with them.

did you go through the dark forest area yet?Ã,Â The place where you put the fairy and she will light it up?

?Ã,Â If you did, then go further in to the left and you will come out and find a guy swatting mole hills
The oil can is there right in front of his tent.

okay Fisher lets get ya that fairy, I am assuming you have talked to her and she has told you she would like somewhere else to live, you have to show her something and then she will come with you, look very carefully inthe darkforest for a leaf, its kinda hard to find but its there. When you get it take it to fairy and show it to her. When she is in your inventory, take her back to the dark forest and then you will be able to walk through into another screen.
Guy with bacon - go down from where the snake is.

I remember the 'dark forest' towards the beginning of the game....but since then, I've been underwater or walked up 'death's fishing pole. Can't seem to find the dark forest again. Yes, I've talked to the fairy....

when you walked up deaths fishing pole did you pick up the coin and then walk left, drop coin into slot of the head thats there,while still standing on the ledge and a boat comes and takes you across, you will end up back at the beginning where the 3 trees with one eye are. Walk left and down and you will be back at forest

How do I do the 'slow computer' thing to protect myself? Or do I even need to do that?

arrrrgh!!! How did some of you get so far? :o What do you have to bring the fairy to make her come with you to light the forest? I finally found the termites and how to get across the river again but have no idea WHERE the moles are and the oil can...and how to get the megaphone from the sun screen! help me someone!

i read through most of this thread and I'm still kinda stumped...O_O

this is an incredibly authored game that definitely has lots of original twists, it wasn't until I accidentally clicked the big plant in Brian's cave that I'd even think that's how one would climb up it...the game I'm in the middle of putting together is more old-school. And i'll be visiting the technical forum a LOT for it!

anyone who wants a spoiler though for the worms-who-count-to-20 puzzle just gimme a shout!

If you want to do the computer slow thing.....As Wretched suggested, go into your inventory and click eye icon on that red manual.....Turn the pages until you see the mouse there will be a box there for you to put a check in if you want to do that.

Have fun...... This is a great game isn't it?
