I've spoken to the witch a got a rune to use on the door on the side of the mtn. The only one I know of is the one by the snake. I can't seem to get the rune to work there. Is this the right door or is there a different one I need to go to?

I read that you dried your sheet so you must have been able to give Ariel the goldfish to get the sheet. What did you have to do to your fish so that Ariel will take him? [/hide

Just talk with him ?
Look at the sheets and then ask about them . Give the fish and you get the wet sheet

Wretched what is going on?

I am trying to hatch the egg in the lair but when I use the runes in the order that spell out hatch, it does not work. My dust mop is not lit, and I am getting to the lair using the feather. Everyone but me seems to be able to make this work. I am SO very frustrated. Is there an inventory item that I absolutely must have but might not? I have been on this puzzle forever. Please help

This game is very confusing,

there are different ways to get to the dragons lair, looks like you went the chicken way, I had been to dragons lair long before I discovered the chicken and thats when I did my rune thing, I went through to the right of the house where I got broom, picked up stone,went over the icy river with broom, walked through forest, went up somewhere in the middle of forest, saw a little bug guy, put my stone there, went back to river and got a ring, walked through the weeds, rang the bell, went back again through weeds and the weeds picked me up and took me to dragons lair, thats when I did the runes. I don't know if this makes any difference or not - confused yet?

my runes spelled BATCB, baby, antenna, tree, cherry, baby, so i don't know what you mean by hatch, must be different if you went a different way, i don't know

It makes perfect sense because that is how I got to the lair the first time..lol. Ã,Â I did not try the rune thing at that time though and now as far as I know, the chicken thing is the only way to get back. Ã,Â Thanks for trying to help. Ã,Â I appreciate it. Ã,Â I am sure I am just missing some tiny little thing. Ã,Â

the baby is a humala so that is where I get the H instead of the B and that spells out HATCH

Oh lord you are right I never even thought of that, I guess thats the logical way of thinking of it. I did that by trial and error, never even thought of it spelling anything LOL.

As regards getting back to the igloo, right now I can't even think straight so i can't help ya out there.

arrgh, the one other thing I have not figure out....how to get her to open up. I know I have to clear the snow, just don't know how. That is pretty funny in a frustrating sort of way...LOL

Anyone that got into the lair the first time by using a feather, then you're going to have to go back to the start of part 2. I suggest you also get the latest version, so you can't do this again. I originally thought it wouldn't matter but it will affect something a long way down the line. Sorry.
