Fliegemich,
       I,ve been up the tree from fairy. All I can see is wasteleland. Can use broom to get to feather but nothing else. Am I missing something?

I think you should concentrate on what the game has told you not what you've read in hints and tips. If you haven't encountered the chicken, or an inventory feather in the game, then trying to find the chicken will be fruitless. Have you been through the mountain by using the rune yet?

I'm on the island and can't  find the plunger...............I have tried standing on turtle while reading book outside cave but nothing happens?   I can make them fly by talking to them but I read on here that I have to shoot them....but I can't find a flint for the gun anywhere so I guess its in the cave which I can't get in , any help on this one please[\hide]

Also have been to Beethovens house and wet floor with icicle and been back to safe but theres still no fish memory - do I get that from the house?

step on the turtle and go behind at the cave opening. Read the book and quick step in the cave.
And for the fish i just clicked  in the safe and then talk in the safe with the fish ?

The fish is trying to do 50 press ups. If you keep looking at him while at the safe you will see him eventually reach 50, when he will talk to you. You can just wait instead but this at least shows what's happening. Away from the safe he loses count after 3.

Thanks guys, am progressing nicely,  only problem I seem to be having now is that I can't find the stone for the chicken eye, bog says something about it may be in the treasure in the lair but I can't find a way of getting it[\hide]

use the nuts in the screen with the bug and lock him to the gate

Thanks Peter but am having difficulty with this bit..........I put nut down for bug and he takes it and disappears, am unable to put another nut down - Bog keeps saying he has to wait for to reappear.  Am trying to do this by river under tree - have put stone on his other hole - am I doing this in the right place or should I be trying to do something else? use the nuts first om the tree branch and then on the ground, don't cross the river

Once again thanks Peter. 

Not sure if this is a problem but several people are telling me to use nuts on branch of tree and then on bug..........this I'm trying to do.  But when I try to leave on branch it says 'you don't want to lose these in the water', when I try to leave it for the bug he takes one and then disappears to the other hole in the trees.  I have tried leavng one there too but that doesn't work either, have also tried doing this on both sides of the river and nothing works...........any ideas on why I can't get this to work.

I am playing with version 2.15

The Bird including feather is nowhere to be found.
I now the bird should on screen above fairy but isn't.

Is this a bug?

I did managed getting information from Witch and here come part 4.
Still not sure what exactly to do with bubble from purple planet
including nuts trail

The feather has been moved to the igloo as it was premature to place it at the witches hut and caused confusion. It's not a bug.

Yep have set fire to him and put ash on tablet to reveal morse code...........think thats where the problem may be then 'cos the owls eyes are not flashing.Ã,  I have tried talking to owl, and interracting with him, picking pea etc..........but still no flashing eyes.Ã,  [\hide]

can someone give me some hints on the spider, I have flies and swolleb is not well, I'm carrying a fish now as well.  Absolutely lost at what to do with flies as my nose is stuck firm ,  also should I have no speech [\hide]

Are you on v2.15? If not you will probably have to get it, you could try walking onto and off the bridge. Stuck to web, just keep trying to get away.
