where are you now in the game?  sounds like you did not do the icicle thing to get Beethovan upstairs so you can get into the house and get fish memory and megaphone.  If that is the problem, don't worry.  You don't have to go back to an earlier save, you are ok......

I dont think its possible to get 170 points without getting in here for the fish memory. Which version of the game are you playing?

I just had a look at the walkthrough and this solution is not in it!! you can get the duster after you have removed the ghouls from the swamp, they will form a pathway that you can walk across and get the duster

I am playing V2.17-Have fish memory but no fish to give Ariel

Are you sure its the fish memory you have and not the fish. The memory is inside a bubble , if its the fish you have and you look at it in inventory it should say 2, 1 3 or something like that. You shouldn't be able to get the memory without having the fish first. Getting the memory first was a bug in a much earlier version and Wretched fixed it.

In the manual the only critters with question marks beneath them are fish shape between arial & clod & large dark figure between agatha & puggles.  This is the first game that ever  took me over because of the challenge-I really appreciate you people  trying to help me.

This might be one for Wretched to answer. I can tell you where to get the fish but I don't know if it will work with you having the fish memory first.  I can't figure out where you got the memory from because you need the fish to be able to use it to get memory. Anyway you have to fly to the desert, you land on top of fossil and you walk to the right and the fish and fishbowl are there, you have to keep talking to fish and he will finally come with you and pick up the fishbowl too. Not sure it will work though if you already have memory. You might have to wait until Wretched is on again, hes probably snoring by now.

Joyce's advice sounds good, I would point out that playing the latest version, will not correct bugs that are inherent in your save games, (in this case the, non-fatal, fish memory), only stop them happening again.

Yess! That walkthrough really came in handy and has helped me too! I am almost finished now. I had to use my lucky ability with that owl thing to guess wish pea was the right thing to pick up.....after many many unlucky experiences hehehe.

I think Wretched has outdone all possibility what AGS can do.

I hope he will be so kind to teach us how he did that word puzzle someday and other puzzles wish was included in that wonderful game too. I really want to learn how he did all those wonderful puzzles too.

You must check out the ice river wish is near the witch house. And Bog will then ask the witch how he shall cross over the river. Try that and see what happens.

again thanx a bunch, but how do i get to the purple planet. and how do i get the name backwards, i go through the vortex and zip! nothing

to get to purple planet.  Go to moon and use broom on purple planet to get that bubble.  Talk to bubble before you take it, purple man should appear and memorize the name and you will have the memory.  Then you have to go down and through that twirley thing after death catching fish and name will turn backwards.
