I have 33 points and am ready to use the bar on the lid. I have also put the page back in the book and am desperately trying to open the hole with the bar and enter it according to the walkthrough but am experiencing two problems.
First problem is that from the moment I poured the milk for the snake, it has been impossible to pick the bottle back up. Either the milk is half lost, or, it has expired and I have no use for it.
Secondly, and most importantly, there is NO lid in the forest floor. I am sure I have not only searched every pixel in the forest, but, also tried to interact the bar with every item. It is literally impossible to find the hole to enter.
I have now played this game up to this point three times to eliminate bugs. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I would SO much appreciate help :)
Okay, I found the lid by accidentally noticing I could actually walk beyond the far right screen. :D
Now the only perceived problem is that I was never able to pick the milk bottle back up. I suspect it is a problem because an earlier post in this forum suggests that the bottle must be picked back up.
Is picking the milk bottle up necessary after pouring the milk out for the snake ???

Don't worry about milk - after feeding snake you don't need it anymore. The lid can be found in the forest - go east and you will move deeper into forest and find the lid. Good luck!
