??? I'm totaly stuck ! I took the Staff from the forest, I can't untie the boat, I don't know how to get the box out of the cave, and I can't get the carrot off the sand man.
what am I missing? I'm sure it's one thing that will get everything going.

You have to talk to the bird and then make a pillow and give it to the bird. Then you can get the carrot and give it to the rabbit.There is a bug in the game so save your game after you make the pillow.

for the box - you need to drag it out - perhaps you could find something to tie round it
:-\ I guess I'm really thick, I can't figure out how to make the pillow, I've tried the wallet and the Sheet, and I have tried them with leaves and sand. Nothing works.
Please help.
As for the box, I guess once I'm able to untie the boat I will be able to use the rope right????

To make the pillow you have to use the boat and go to the small island. There you will find the wool you need
OK, but I cant use the boat since I'm unable to untie the rope.

The bird will give you the map if you make him a pillow. But you can't take the wool for the pillow because the barber needs a flower to trade for it. The flower is in the forest and when I pick it, I can't leave. What am I missing. I'm going nutty... ::)

You actually don't need the map to get back to the boat. What you need the map for is getting through to the other side of the forest. What I did was enter the island forest, pick the flower, go right once, and then I kept going left until I got back to the boat.
