Hey, this is a fabulous game so far -- smart, witty, fun, and mysterious. However, I'm stuck. :-/ I have been to many locations, but haven't yet found any key clue or hint.

I have been around to seven locations so far, and talked to just about everyone, exhausting all conversation. I have the cell phone, police record for the murder, police record for the disturbance near the pier, brochure for the Tarnished Zone, brochure for the Safe Zone city, and the envelope (which you present to get into Armstrong's office). Other than that, I'm stumped. I thought I might have to get the hacker guy to help me get past some of the locked doors, but can't. Nobody in the game seems to know much except Armstrong, and he's not talking. Any help?

If you already talked to Armstrong, talk to the hacker in the bar about him. (Sorry I forgot his name already, and I just solved this puzzle an hour ago.)
PS you may need to have actually clicked on one of the keycard readers to open up that dialogue.

Hmm. This didn't seem to work. The hacker guy still doesn't recognize Armstrong's name. I clicked on all the card readers I could find, including the one in Armstrong's office. The first reader gives, "If I was more technically savvy, then I could circumvent this..." dialog. I assumed that was enough before, but it didn't work. Hmm. Anything else you clicked on?

The hacker guy can mod your phone- can't remember exactly if you have to give it to him or if the conversation comes up naturally when talking about something else.
I'm stuck on the next day, when you get the modded phone back from him. I can't work out what to do next!

I don't know what to do after I conviced the limo driver to talk (at least I think I did, I showed him the phone message, and he's no longer in his garage.)
I already have the weird receipt with DL1306 on it, but have no idea what it is for

JohnyKat, there's always a hint in the question mark in "Contacts".

you're told you have to get BOTH the driver and the girl to talk. AFter all, one of them might not - you have to cover all your bases.
If you have trouble with that, ask again. Oh, and

don't forget to talk to Leo about the limo driver. You'll have to let him know whenever you convince either of them.
EDIT - Nlogax, what exactly are you having trouble with? The beginning of the next day is by itself full of surprises. Obvious places to check are:

I had no idea I had to talk about Jalika again to the hacker guy, to get the pulse bomb (that I didn't knew I needed) . It kinda made sense afterwards, but I guess i though the hacker guy was just there to rig my phone, and never though of him again...

Stuck on Day #2. I can't...

...get back into Armstrong's office, because I can't distract the secretary somehow and use the cell phone mod on the card readers. I tried getting her to check on Armstrong thinking I could put something into her martini, but I don't have anything appropriate. I also can't find any "evidence" to hide the electro-bomb in so that I can send it to the police station and free Jalika. I thought the most appropriate "evidence" would be the gun from the guy who committed suicide, but I can't get it, and I also can't do anything with the corpse. Also, I still can't find the taxi driver or decipher what the "DL 1306" clue means. Hints?

This was a great game. It reminded me of the great high-quality classic, Pleurghburg: Dark Ages. I hope there are more!

I have done everything that is said in this hints and tips and in the walkthrough, for the first day, Monday. I downloaded Cayanne Pepper 02. I played all twice and always I'm stuck before go to sleep. Cayanne said she is not tired...
So it is a pitty but the game has a bug ...

Plis help me! I want to play this great game... but after I talked with the guy in the pub who told me to come bach next day, CP has to go to sleep but she says she is not tired and ... I dont know what can do in order to continue playing... that IS MY BUG, I see other can continue the game further than me.

The things you have to do to trigger the sleep-sequence is: Talk to Armstrong about Cayanne and Arden, deliver phone to donner, and after having done this talk to Arden. He will then suggest Cayanne get some sleep, and when you exit to the city map all locations but Home will be unavailable.
