EXTREME GAME HELP!

 I need help in The Shining AGS game!
Here's my situation:
Wendy is stuck in the bathroom, and Jack is banging down the door. I have a short period of time to break a hole through the wall and get some kind of pipe to bang him. One: I can't find anything to break the wall through. Two: I can't find the spot in the wall CRAP!!!
Can anyone give me help?
(Jack Torrence keeps busting down the door and defeating me!)

All I can tell you is that in the sink there is a plunger very long strip of metal, and some tape. Connect them together to get an ax. That's all I know
