But how? I've tried all possible combinations involving:

1. turning hotplate on, by placing a frozen burger on it
2. turning the oven on, by placing the freezer pack inside it (it'll just get warmer)
3. turning both of these things off.

No luck. What am I doing wrong?

It takes some time to change the temperature. You must leave the kitchen and return to have a significant change in temperature.

Look at the health manual after you told Jamai, that you are the health inspector. You will find a bulletin. This bulletin will tell you how you can prove to be a health inspector

You already have the buisness card, but you need the logo of the health agency. Use the nail clippers on the health guide. Use the logo on the card.

You need a photo of yourself. Ask the reporter for help and use the photo on the card

You need to laminate the card. Put the card into the plastic bag and use the card on the hairdryer in the bathroom

When I look at your inventory list, you should be able to that. Did you fetch the zombie head out of the tree and used it the remains? After that you should be able to ask the reporter for a pen. You need to build the health inspector ID-card to enter the kitchen.

You have to enter the kitchen and resurrect the druid before you can note tombstone inscriptions - they are not good for anything as long as you have not resurrected the druid.
