QfG3 paladin

Does anyone know the details on becoming a Paladin in Quest for Glory III? I am a fighter with plenty of honor and did all sorts of things like rescuing Manu and getting Yesufu out of the trap, but I must have hit some disqualifier somewhere as Rakeesh won't paladize me...

to become a paladin you need to finish the previous games and export your character in each. (maybe only finish the 2nd is enough, not sure).

it doesn't matter which class you chose, you can just choose to turn it into a paladin when you export it. (although it's pointless if you're not a fighter, because of the shield thing) ...

Actually, no. I posted the same question on another forum and got the answer...

in QfG2 you can become a paladin no matter what (you don't need an imported character) only you can't get 500 pts as a thief if you paladinize.

in QfG3 you can paladinize only as a fighter. It's not particularly difficult EXCEPT that on newer computers, the Laibon gets impatient with you (in his hut) after half a second instead of half a minute, and every time he says so, you lose honor.

Of course the link takes you to eBay. That was entirely intentional, although you may be able to find the games in your local software store if you're lucky.

Also B@K was not made by Sierra, merely distributed by Sierra.

eh, i don't recall being able to paladinize in qfg2, all i remember was some fighters guild or something, hmm i remember i looked hard, probably missed it along with the x-ray glasses ^^

Let me guess, you attacked Merv? Or was your behavior simply inappropriate for a paladin? It's not that hard if you know what to look for, but you have to be careful.

well i did finish the game around 4-5 times i believe (with all chars of course), i did lotsa combinations and stuff.

well i don't remember any merv, last time i played this game was long long ago ...

well do you just get a heal wounds, or do you also get a glowing sword o' matic ??
