I read in the completed games forum about a letter in a bottle, and a fishing rod, but I can't find them
I have:

the liana, the nitrate(?), the telescope, and have seen the hole in the altar, but don't know what to do w/ it?

I found the bottle, in the screen where the tree with the coconut is, go up to the right hand corner and you will see fishing rod, walk to the far right and he will go up to it and use the fishing rod and you get bottle. There is a note in the bottle, if you interact with bottle you can get note. From the few hints on completed games I think you have to give empty bottle to the crazy man and he will give you a rock, but I can't figure out how to do that because everytime I talk to him he then disappears so can't give the bottle to him.
Now where did you find the telescope and the nitrate?
Oh also in the screen where sandcastle is, look in the bushes, I found a plank. Have you got that yet?

You just have to be quick - get the bottle out of your inventory, so you can scroll round to it when you've talked to the guy.
That should bring you to the point where I'm stuck. :P

Thanks Oneiro, I did finally manage to give him the bottle and like you said you have to be really quick. Not sure if we are both stuck at same place or not, not sure what to do with the coconut, figure you have to make it into a bomb. I found another chasm, went back to get the plank to get over it and discovered you can't carry telescope and plank, you have to put telescope back, which I did and proceeded to put the plank on the other chasm, saw an island in the distance but it says its too far away to see so I guess you need telescope which I don't have because I had to put it back in order to get the plank so there must be another way to see the island or we have to figure out how to have both the telescope and the plank or a way over the second chasm. I won't get back to the game until really late tonight so maybe by then you will have got further and can help me lol

To the right of the river/chasm there are steps cut into the rock, but he won't climb them without some kind of help. I assume you need to use the liana somehow, but no luck yet.

However, after picking up the telescope and going back, the plank is still over the river and also still over the deep chasm to the right of the fishing rod scene. I used the telescope on the island in the distance and was able to view it and Indiana Jones. I went back and picked up the plank from where the telescope orignally was and now it is in my inventory with the other planks still in place! Oh, well.... this is where I am stuck and have not been able to get any thing to work. Any ideas about the alter and what fits in the hole?

I am stuck, I cannot get across the top gap across the river with the telescope, I have racked my brains and cant find the answer to this it says I cant carry the telescope and the plank of wood can anybody help me here please.

There is the river, where you need to use the plank to cross it. The steps are in the 'mountain' on the other side-they look like little holes in the rock.
The chasm is up to the right of the fishing pole, and you also need the plank to cross it.
Haven't figured out how to carry the plank and the telescope at the same time.
Someone said they interacted w/ the wild river while standing on the plank, but he only says "not a good idea"...Nothing happened.

Interact with the plank while standing over the river. Doesn't help with the telescope though.

When you interact w/ the plank, and choose "yes", you go to a whole new area, and get a device to climb up the mountain AND you can carry the telescope at the same time!

ok I sank inthe river and went into the contest and got a pick used that to go up steps. now i am stuck on mountain without way to get off. I dont have the board because i have the telescope......Now what????

I must have visited the scenes in different sequence or something.... because I had no problem with the planks. I went to the area to right of the deep chasm first and my plank just remained there..... and I also had a plank in my inventory when I crossed the wild river the first time.
Also, Rosie, did you figure out about using the telescope?

You "use" it on the Rain Island when standing on the cliff that over-views the island. He will automatically will set it up to look through

Have you done all you can do in the bar? Maybe it has to be done first. After taking the note off of the professor and reading the numbers, it was easy to put into the "pole" near the boat

The numbers that you mentioned in your post are not the ones that I had. Also, after you enter the numbers, there is a small round button just to the right of the last number you enter that you click

the empty glass, the professor's glasses, Indy's note, and the professors note. Ã, I've talked to the go-go dancer, and have already played the jukebox to knock out the professor w/the disco ball. Ã, The professor's note says, my favorite numbers are the 2 the 0 and the 3. When I hit 2,0,3 into the "pole", nothing happens...Did you find other numbers?

My note had 1,4,1 as the numbers.... maybe it had to do with the song that is selected.... I don't really know. But, I entered the 141 into the pole and hit the little round button and the game went into the ending for me

that I pressed the Bee Gees tune first, and that is why I got the wrong combination. When I tried the other 2 songs beforehand, I got your number combo

Have you been to the alter yet? It is in the scene to the left of the big rock. One of your inventory items can be poured into the hole on the alter. You will get several items that will help you prepare the bomb from your inventory.

Thank you. That's what I just did. Finally a lite came on telling me I had to empty the coconut so I could fill it with explosives Had quite a job though figuring out how much and what to put in. But the Rock is down and now to the bar. Thanks for all your help
how do u make the bomb my coconut is broken and is yellowish and when i used the liama with the coconut it says it wont stick i tried it with the glue but it ddint work someone help

I am stuck at I think near the end. I gave milk to gogo dancer. found coin. When I went to juke box the only song it would play is beegees. Prof and I danced. Ball fell down and killed him, I got the note from him which said he likes the numbers 2 and 2 and 5. Took his glasses. Talked to go goer went down to boat and Tried that combination and everyother combination with those three numbers and nothing is happening.... What Am I doing Wrong?????? or is there a bug.....?????

I emailed the creator of this game and asked him to let me know what is wrong. Posted under finished games.
So, let's see. Seems like everyone got different numbers and some worked and some didn't. Hope your day was a good one.......

Thanks Rosie for bringing this to my attention.
I just had a look into the skript and figured out that there really is a bug with the numbers at the pole.
We skripted so that you can't just go to the pole for the first time and just work through every single combination ... find the correct one ... and finish the game without ever visiting the bar.
You need to have the note from the professor in order for the correct code (which is generated randomly at the start of every new game) to work.
And here is the BUG: you need to have the inventory item (note) EXACTLY ONCE (because that's how the script checks it at the moment). However, you can interact with the unconcious professor as often as you want and you get another note every time ....
To solve the bug you will need to load a previous save game (if you don't have one you can download one right here (http://stefan.lohner-net.de/ddddd/savebeforebar.rar)) and interact with the knocked down professor only once ... type in the numbers at the pole ... push the round green button ... and you should be able to finish the game.
I have also uploaded a new version of the game which fixes some other minor things. You can download version 1.1 of DDDDDÃ, right here (http://stefan.lohner-net.de/ddddd/ddddd.rar)

nope..at least i dont think i did..but i must say this was a great game and loved it during the quiz when the guy said......"lets give our contestant the "Clap".. i just laughed so hard when i read that..good humor!!! keep up the good work.

I had a saved game just after I got the coin so I was able to load that, interacted with the professor just once this time and this time my numbers worked. I think I did interact with him more than once just to see if he had anything else in his pockets and I guess thats what screwed me up.

DITTO on what Joyce said. I may have also interacted more than once with the professor after he died. That messed up the pole numbers. Also this time after I went back to a saved game, after Prof died, I searched him, got note and didn't talk to pole dancer, but went straight to pole by boat, put in numbers and it worked just fine. So if anyone else is having that problem, don't touch prof more than once to see if he has anything else in his pocket.......Have fun

I have the fuze and the sulphur mixed with nitrate in the coconut but when i try to use the fuze with the coconut he says, it won't stick. The glue won't work with either the coconut or the fuze.
I think you have to hold the bomb so it won't fall open first. Can't remember well, it's probably:
