egg: enter the room with the window that looks on the boat (the one with the cloaths on the string). Climb over the roof to the other side, two screens to the right and enter the storage room. The plum is on the tree in front of the storage room. Throw the egg.

Can someone pls help me. I am in DS part 2 and am in that crazy black and white castle. I think its a dream but I can't seem to do anything but pick up a pot, I found a locked door but no key. This is driving me crazy now. I going up the same steps to nowhere, I'm stumped!!!

take the flower pot (the small one, not the vase), walk around until you can look down onto the vase from a level above and drop flower pot. This breaks the vase and you can take a key. Unlock the door that has a keyhole on top of it. To unlock it you must walk around until you can reach the keyhole, that is, the door must be lying flat in the ground. Walk around again until you are standing in front of this door and open it.

the telescope will be important later in the game. You can't enter the house of Lady Loubert (or whatever her name is). Go back to the hotel room, look under the desk and pick up the bracelet. Turn on the TV and listen to the news. You should now be able to use the taxi. Go to the monastery. It is not so easy to enter there, you will need some disguise to explore the area thoroughly. There are quite a few involved puzzles. And most important: save the game before using the boat, from or to the island (one save game each)!

go into the building in the background, steal a robe, go back to the screen where the boat is and go behind the tree. Put on the robe. Now you look like one of them and you can explore the area except for the dead monks cell. After the sightseeing tour in the abbey you must get rid of the police men. You will find all things that you need to distract him in the abbey, but there are also quite a few things to do. Two hints: you can climb the roof, you must feed the cow something that disturbs her digestion

there is the window where you left the boat and got the robe, click on the edge of the roof, just above the window, go right (two more screens I think) or so, than you can climb through a hole in the roof.

Thank you so much for trying to help me. I just can't seem to figure this game out. I have not been in the boat because the fisherman won't talk to me. Do I need a robe to talk wilth him, and if so, where is the robe. Like I said there is no building I can acess at Hautecombe.

examine the fisherman, look at his pin on his jacket, take a picture of the pin and process the picture in the hotel room. You will find out that he prefers perch. Buy some perch in the old city of Lyon (find this species at the fishmonger, outside the shop, and click on it). BTW: You also bought the newspaper earlier and read it?

Go back to the fisherman, show him the fish and then go to the next screen and come back. Now you can use the boat. Save often here because some people reported problems when getting to far off the right track with the boat

Just walk behind the tree. I think that Leo will change clothes as soon as he finds some privacy. But it's been a long time since I played this game.

Or use the clothes with the tree? Leo has to change the clothes several times, and he cannot climb with the habit on.

The problem is I cannot use the robe with the tree because neither his regular clothes or his robe are in inventory...I even scrolled down to make sure that I didn't miss it, but not there.

I didn't replay the game yet, so try interacting with the tree or simply going there. As far as I remember I had not much difficulty changing the clothes. Perhaps I play again...
