I´m playing this nice game in italian version and I need some hints or tips or better a walkthrough in any language if there are any. I have been in all the parts or rooms, I have taken with everybody but I dont know how to do next.

OK, here are a load of hints that should help, depending on how far you've got with the game (all in English to help everyone):
Yes, you are right about what the main goal of the game is. The first thing to do (at the waterfall ["cascata"]) is:

Talk to Matt about everything. He'll tell you what he needs to make you a new bass guitar. He'll also tell you what you need to do so that he can teach you the tune that will destroy the cliff.
After that, here are various things you can do at each of the places on the map. No doubt there are other things, but this is pretty much what I have done so far:
GIARDINI (park)
Spoiler
Talk to "Inutile" (who'll be called "Basket Case" in the English version). To challenge him, you need to find something to use as a whip (I don't know what). I think that if you do, and you beat him in the challenge, you'll get a the whip from him, which, as he as hinted, is useful to you in some way (see next hint).

South American Indians use the material that the whip is made out of to make strings for instruments... that is something you need for the guitar.

Look in the sandpit.
GIARDINI PARROCCHI (church grounds)

Go into the church. Talk to the Blues Brothers about everything. They can help you, but you'll need to be appropriately dressed. Make a note of what they say you need to wear.
CASCATA (waterfall)

Talk to Matt about everything, if you haven't already. Things to check out: kebabs; postcards; T-shirts; telescope; Sminkio doll; Pino Scotto doll; dilapidated bridge. Whether any of these get you anywhere, I don't know.
CASA NONNO E JANNA (Grandpa and Janna's house)

Talk to Nonno (Grandpa) about everything.

I'm not sure whether the climbing plant on the wall or the video entryphone are useful in any way.

Go into the tunnel. Examine the posters. There is something you can take here. It might be useful for your costume, I'm not sure.
CAMPO DA CALCIO (soccer pitch)

Try to take the ball. Caio won't let you have it.

Talk to Caio. He'll ask you three questions. Get the answers right he'll give you the ball. If you get them wrong, just try again. I won't give the right answers here, partly because I don't want to spoil the game and partly because I can't remember which ones they are :) but they are the same every time.
MONUMENTO (monument)

Go to the POSTE (post office). I haven't found anything else useful you can do at the monument yet.

Interact with the trash can and you'll find something.

Talk to Emogirl about everything. You'll find out the sort of person she likes to go out with.

Go into the bar. They sell ice-cream here. Someone else in the game likes ice-cream (who you might or might not yet have spoken too) - I'm not sure whether this is significant.
This is less than half of what I have done so far and should keep you busy for a while. I'll post more tips later.
EDIT: OK, more tips, continued from the above.
One other key goal of the game:

Find four musicians who can teach you the tune you need to destroy the cliff with. I won't say who these might be, but so far I've found two solo artists and two groups.
One big hint on clicking on things: if you click on something, sometimes it has no effect because Captain Fortune walks over the top of the thing that you clicked on. Try clicking and then moving the cursor well out of his way. This doesn't always work, but does sometimes.

In the bar next to where the emo girl is, talk to Manny about being a connoisseur of cocktails. He'll tell you how to make a cocktail. There's someone else in the game who would like one of these, but there are a load of ingredients you'll need to find first. You may already have seen some of them in other locations or got hold of some of them. You'll find at least one of them near someone who is crying.

Talk to Manny about being the Grim Reaper. He'll want proof that there's been an accident. Once you've given him something, you'll be able to take something you need from this room.

To prove that there has been an accident, give two other characters elsewhere in the game something to play with. Oh dear!

Investigate what has happened. Here you'll find something that proves you have been here.

PARCHEGGIO (car park/parking lot)

Try to take the parcel. It looks like you need to find some way of getting hold of it. Talk to Felicina. You can use an inventory object somewhere here, too, to collect something you need.
Go left to the CARBONAIO (a place that was used by the criminal Carboneri in days gone by).

You can get your hands on something in this building even though you can't go inside.
There must be something you can do in the FALEGNAME (carpenter's workshop) but I haven't found out what yet.
FORNAIO (bakery)

Talk to Nardo - he'll give you another task.

Go back and do what you need to do with Tilly. To win, you need to beat her three times. If you fail, go back and try again. Making the same choices gives the same results, so once you win one round, that is what you need to do to win that round again. No answers here... work it out for yourself! Tilly rewards you with something you needed earlier on.
And one more hint at the RUPE (cliff)

There are two hotspots here that have not been given names ("Hotspot 3" and "Hotspot 4"). Investigate both. You'll need an inventory item (I don't know what) in order to do be able to do anything with one of them.
Phew! That's as far as I've got, and now I'm stuck. It looks like there's still a long way to go!

This is a big game, with dozens of rooms and lots of side quests. I estimate I'm a little over halfway through.
By the way, I've got a bit further now, so if anyone has made use of everything above and is stuck, I can provide more hints.
EDIT: While working on the English translation, I completed the game and played through pretty much everything that it's possible to do in the game, so I (or Punkkommando, of course) should be able to help if anyone gets stuck with anything else.

He says you can kick the Dungeon Master. Do so, and something will fall out of his pocket on to the ground (behind you, so you'll have to move to one side to see it).
Can you tell us what you have tried and what it is you are trying to do at the moment (using spoiler tags, please)? I posted the above tips when I was only part way through the game and so a lot of things didn't make sense at that point. This is a huge game so unless there is something in particular you are stuck on it's hard to give specific help. There is no walkthrough as far as I am aware.
By the way, please don't type all in capitals - I know the game text is all in capitals but shouting is not nice :)

One other general hint that should help a lot with this game - try walking to hotspots. Many of the rooms in the game are not accessible directly from the map but only through another room. For example, you can get to the post office only by going to the monument and walking south.

Have you been to the bar yet (top left exit from the post office)? There is another room next to the bar as well. Talk to the people in both of these rooms if you haven't already. Once you have done this, you will know why you need the coconut.

Also, if you talk to Natalino and grandpa, you'll find there's something else that grandpa can give you, but you need to do quite a lot more in the game before you can get it.

I used the thing I got from the man´s pocket, and now I have the complete.... and the portafoglio.
I have not been able to reflect the sun´s rays with them and I´m stuck again. The most probably is I did not understood well, or I have to do something different with them to obtain that thing to reflect the rays.
When I tried to use the portafoglio... I only can look at it, not used of pick it up.
Other thing, really I can believe that the person who made this wonderful game is a young of twenty... He´s a genius. I have had a very nice time playing it.

* Look carefully around the fortifications/murata and the square/piazza in case there's something there that you've missed.
* Talk to Cindy in the theatre and Manny in the bar (off the post office) to find out what they need. There's a list of items they want you to collect.
* You will have seen one of these is in Janna's cave, but you need some way of picking it up.
* Look at/interact with everything in the park if you haven't already.
There's still a lot to do after that to solve these two puzzles, but hopefully this will help you get a bit further.

The hotspot for the spirit level must be just visible then - that's good. Leon, have you been able to pick it up?

I did everything you said but I only have the little paper to get the suit and I cannot use the wallet (only I can look at it). I don´t have anything to use with sun´s rays in order to get the coconut.

I've fixed the problem that meant you couldn't pick up the spirit level. Unfortunately it means you'll have to download the game again (click on "New link" below). Your old savegames should work with the new version of the game.

I started a new game, went straight to grandpa and it's clearly visible there.

Ah, yes of course... remember that savegames save EVERYTHING about the game, including rooms and the positions of objects in them... so when you reload the room, the spirit level is still in its old (bad) position.
So unfortunately you do need to start again. Sorry about that. I had planned to play through the whole game before I uploaded it for Punkkommando, just to make sure everything was OK, but everything looked as if it was OK so I didn't bother... there's a lesson for me to learn there ;)
Speaking of which.... you reach the tunnel to the right of the fountain, right? Why is the hotspot gone there?

I believe so. I don't think I've removed that hotspot, but it's not too big a deal as you can also reach it by going left from the bus stop.
Not really. That's either scene of the crash or monument... ???
For some reason the cursor doesn't reach till the edge of the screen on thre right. The left isn't a problem. (Also in full screen mode).

The black hat can be found in the house of Don Crosta. You need to talk to him in prison next to Janna's cave.
[edit] Just tried but I really don't have an entry to the tunnel. Not from the fountain, not from the bus stop. From which screen did you take the left? Lower left of the busstop is the monument, lowerleft of the fountain is coal shop.

ya i did the suit thing and got the note from blues bother after starting a new game
also in the new game i can't get the wood pole from the guy's room he is gone but when
i try to get it his words appear and i can't get it but he is not there

I'm looking for the tunnel with the posters because I need the censoring strip. In the old version of the game this wasn't a problem. Now I can't reach it anymore. Anyone?
Oh wel.... I really don't get it. For some reason, during the game this hotspot disappeared. When I start a new game and go directly to the fountain I can reach the tunnel. When I load my savegame the hotspot is gone... ???

You mean Don Crosta? You need to convince him you're trustworthy. Only then he'll give you the key of his house. Near the fortification you can find something that'll convince him.
YESSSSS!!!! I can reproduce the error! I know what happens now
(and it is a dead end in the game!).To reproduce:

- Get the football from the pitch by answering the questions
- Goto the busstop and give the ball to Mila
- Visit the fountain and the tunnel is gone
Ergo: Creating the crash before visiting the tunnel makes the correct entrance of the tunnel disappear and thus the strip unobtainable.
Update: The strip can also be obtained from the crahssite. [part 2] Man man man I really have my day. I lured the capitalologist away from his desk, try to take the capital, do I hear a voice saying: "Don't even think about it." As if he's still there.
And I also nailed this one! To reproduce:

- Give note to emo
- Call capital... with the right answers
- Get rose. LOOK AT ROSE AND CUT

To make the drink for Cindy you need to find quite a few things... Manny (in the bar) will have told you what you need. Which of these do you already have and which do you still need? Remember, when you have them all, you need to mix them in an oily container, so you'll need to find something that is oily.

I think I've gotten pretty far but I have been wandering around in circles trying to open the boot and move the bear .
Also I cannot do anything with hotspots 3 or 4. (at the cliff)
Can someone please give me a bump in the right direction or a hint as to what needs to be done first?
I only need 1 more ingredient for the drink and can't find that either.

Cheryl - hotspots 3 and 4 at the cliff don't do anything. What item are you missing for the drink?
As for opening the boot, this is a pretty hard puzzle, so I'm not surprised people are having problems.
To open the boot:

Use the sceptre on the boot.
To get the item you need to use to open the boot:

Grandpa has the sceptre, but he won't give it to you. You need to distract him so that you can get it from him.

Distract Grandpa by doing something to Janna.
You need two items to do this. If you have them:

Use the surfboard on Janna or on the thing she is sitting on (I don't remember which one works) to create a springboard. It will appear next to Janna. Then use the bottle of energy water on Janna/the springboard/her drinking fountain (I don't remember which) to inject some energy into the proceedings. Janna will be catapulted into the doorway to the cells and get stuck there. After the cutscene, go back outside.
Where the first item is:

The surfboard is in Don Crosta's house (getting into his house is a separate puzzle for which hints have already been given). Take the hat, operate the switch and the surfboard will appear high up on the wall (press Tab to see where it is, then Tab again to get the game interface back).
To get the first item:

Take the LPs and play them on the stereo. The surfboard will fall off the wall.
To find the second item:

The bottle of energy water is next to Pino Scotto at the Database Studios.
Steps for getting the second item:

There is an empty water bottle is in a bin/trash can. There are two or three of these in the game and they are easy to find.

Go to Database Studios and use your bottle of water on Pino's to swap them.
Hi, if I don´t remember wrong ...
I got the sceptre (or scepter) a long time ago without need to distract the grandfather... without doing all that things you said with Janna.
When I opened the boot I got the thing I used with the bear. I cannot get the oil ... I don´t know how to do that...
In any case I did all that things you said in the hints and I´m trying to find the correct place to put the bottle. For me this is the hardest in this game... to find the exact place ...

The bottle from the trashcan at the postoffice filled with water from the fountain next to the coal shop should be replaced with the one on the counter next to Pino.
Use the bottle with energy water on the surfboard under Janna.
How did you do that without distracting him? Don't you mean the spirit level? That was in plain sight. The scepter is only there after you got rid of Janna.

I think that works only if you have all the ingredients... it doesn't work for me with any one.
I got the spirit without problem and I picked up the thing I used with the bear from the boot that I opened with the sceptre that I picked up without distracting the grandfather. (Without doing all that with Janna)

It does only work if you have all ingredients: Milk, Lime, Mango, Whiskey, Papaya, Coconut, Cream and the secret one.

As for the other two items you mention, have you been to the waterfall yet? There is a small one in the room with Matt's stall, but there is another one you can get to by going north from Matt's stall. There are a few things you need to do there.

Another buggy? I have all the items to make the bass: circuit, pickguard, hair, climbing plant, iron wire, half capital and back rest. When you have these items in your posession and the golden whip, a visit to Matt/Souvenir shop should be enough to get the bass. Butt.... whatever I do, no bass.
Again a frustrating dead end.... see what I can do.

I finished the game and know all answers to your problems....
However, while going through the WT the final time, I stumbled upon a continuity problem (again).
If you tell me where you're stuck I can give you the answer and check if this could be a continuity issue or just missing items (probably because you need loads of them).

Some remarks about it:
The WT written here has been tested with the latest version of the game.
There are some continuity issues that I know of:

= taking the bottle from the trash at the postoffice.
= staining the broken rose too early.
= having all items for the bass but not getting notified
= using the energy water with the surfboard.
At some stages I wasn't able to do this. For the issues with the bass and rose I had to go back to a saved game. The other two could be solved by doing it again at a later stage in the game. They all need further investigation but it
can occur.
