I'm at the five skulls puzzle. I've tried many different words, but it's rather useless - this puzzle is an anagram in french, and I simply am not fluent enough in that language, even though I did manage to play and enjoy the game up to this point. I don't even like anagrams, anyway.

The letters are C, H, T, A, E. So, what french words can be derived from this, and/or does anyone know the solution?

Basically, until you help the mermaid, you're not going to get your ink. If you have helped her, think about where to use her reward.

I've given La Teigne the rum, but he caught me before I was able to get hold of a sword. Jamal suggests that I look through the spyglass, but I can't find one anywhere.

When you give the rum and try to get a sabre, you cut yourself in a finger. (Hint : Read the texts carefully). Go and talk to the cook (he keeps the key to his room where you will find some desinfectant and other things)

Go to the room with the hammocks (sleeping pirates), then right to the next screen. You will find a pig, three chicken and sacks with grain. Feed the chicken.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I've done all that... I'll check with the game author that this is not a bug.

EDIT: Yes, it was a bug... I had

I'm a bit stumped. I'm in the captains cabin and can't rescue tinkerbell, do anything to the globe or leave the cabin. all I got was teh item in a drawer.
It's obvious that I have to do something before I can leave but it seems I've tried everything - what have I missed?
