find the gem in the submarine part? I found the gems from the armor and the safe but I didn't know until the armor that there were gems to find.

in order to use the submarine, you need to obtain a form giving you permissions to use it. In order to get the form, you need to get rid of the other people waiting in line to get forms on the third floor. the starfish is also in the ocean area.

Took me forever to realize this was there, and yet it was so obvious.

if you look at the pipe connecting the tanks (underneath the tank) you see that the right end of the piper end in a grey knob. This is the "faucet", as the hotspot is labelled. just use it-Piet will close off the pipe. Now crack a tank with something and let the scientist know it's leaking. If you managed to get the termination letter than you already got rid of the terminated guy-he's out cold, so the secretary can't help him with anything.

I've no idea what I have missed in the village... I thought I already did everything possible, such as

finished and used all the spells, killed the dragon, visited the goblins, put the guard to sleep - still the chief doesnt' give me the hand. What on earth am I missing? Do I have to kill the guard, not just use the sleep spell? The sword isn't working there. My inventory: pizza (obviously), plunger, umbrella, meat, safe note, cards, coin, fish (I harpooned another one from the sea, don't know if I need it though), blue gem, axe, pickaxe, hammer, spellbook, mind spell (even though I already used it on the goblin), sword, bronze fist and finally, red gem.

I suppose the solution is something really simple, I just can't figure this one out.

Loving this game, though, it's nice, clever and looooooong


ARGH, never mind, was trying to kill the WRONG goblin.... doh! I'm such a putz.

it's behind that little door in the vending machine room- you have to turn on the machine. the power is controlled by one of the many button things- it may not even be on the same floor ::hint hint::  You'll notice that one of the button stations has a severed wire-maybe you can fix it?

By the way, can anyone tell me where the gem from the submarine is? I'm assuming there was one there.


EDIT: Finished! Did everything except the gem thing since I didn't find that first one though. Wish I knew what happens if you get all of them...
