I read the hint about a clue for the harp under the pillow in the tavern, I don't see any pillow in the tavern. Looked at the pillows in the blacksmiths where wife is, and looked at the room to the right of chief's place but I don't see any other pillows. Exactly where is the pillow?

Nevermind after I posted I figured it out, I don't know how many times I have been in that tavern and I never noticed the stairs LOL

Sleep spell - I need to get energies of laziness (what does that mean?) and something heavy? Only heavy things I see are rocks which I can't take.Ã,  Mind spell - I need the mind of a creature?Ã,  I did manage to do the Enchant spell though!! lol

You have to USE the spells with the rock (for heaviness), with the sleeping guy (for laziness) and with the guy at the bar that can do telekinese (for mind control).

dkh beat me to the reply.  We seem like we're about the same place in the game.  I've got 2 of the spells, but I can't figure out what to do with the [armor so I can get the amulet, to get the water to complete the enchanted spell (also have the sword), can you please help.  Thanks![/spoiler]

Go to the forest and find the STICK on the floor somewhere. Go to the BLACKSMITH and USE the STICK with the FIRE. Then use the BURNING STICK with the CLOTH to burn an "s"-shape into it. Then USE the BURNED CLOTH with the HOLE in the tree. Then USE the SPACE TO THE LEFT OF THE BAR to hide there. Follow the person that comes. Use the UMBRELLA with the LEVER on the tree. You'll get the AMULET. USE it with the GIRL, then use the BUCKET with the GIRL to get the water.

Just a note:

with the stick,

you can use the stick with the furnace at the blacksmith's, but................you can also use it with the goblin's campfire-it's in the same screen as the stick. either is good since the blacksmith is in the same general area of the hole in the tree anyways.

The chef:

have you talked to the guy who got terminated? (wearing black, in line on the third floor) If you have, maybe you should ask the council members why he was terminated.


also, have you looked at what's in those sacks on the fourth floor?

I did all that regarding the chef but I cannot get rid of.

If you talk to the first guy in line on the third floor, he tells you he's been terminated. Now, go to the second floor and talk to the council (two crew member sitting at a table). Ask them if they know Roy and they'll say he was probably terminated because he's alleric to anything old. If you searched the sacks on the bottom floor earlier, you know that they contain old food. Now, you need to disguise this old food so it look noce and fresh and healthy. Of course, the hospital wing should have healthy food right? on the shelf above the resting patient is a plate of what looks like carrots. Use the old food on the carrots and give it to the terminated guy on the third floor. He'll have an allergic reaction and you can them take his termination form and give to the chef to "fire" him.
