how do i open the crate please?

Are you in the room with the elevator and loads of crates?

Yeah in the janitors room

In the room with lots of crates there is the cargo lift in the corner and the computer, fiddle with the computer and look under orders and the status unknown one.  Ask the man about that cargo and he will turn around looking for it , perhaps you could do something with his drink so you could use the elevator

yeah I've done all that but when I try and open the crate it says its nailed shut and i've tried everything in my inventory it says "i cant use this on that" i just need to know how to open it

after using elevator open janitors cupboard and get crowbar - use crow bar on crate after lowering down from hoist
