How do you turn off the water in the basement?

go to the SEARCH on  top of this page and type in Mikes Room.  There are some threads that will help you out with this game.

we are looking for help with Mikes room 2 and can't get the water shut off.

The logical thing would be to go into the bathroom and try something there but I can't seem to open the door even though the hand icon is highlighted, (turns red). This has me a little stumped

This was a question and answer about getting into bathroom, but you might want to read the whole thread in case there is something else that might help.

Question - Cool... so far I like it.... but... is there a way to get into the bathroom? I click on the door handle, and the timer goes and he doesn't go in.

Answer - Ã, heh You need to have something in your inventory Ã, to get in there.. Just keep trying after you find something .
