Eli, it is very easy, find the hot spot named engines (above the Thurg or what his name is) and use the melted ball

As I understand Eli's post well, he used the ball on the engines without melting it, which now has been spoiled. Maybe it's better to use a spoiler next time? :)

david

Tamara thank you it is done :)

Eli

I'm sad, simply I don't find the spot...

Thanks you

@piperhcombs:

Spoiler
the bookshelf is a hint to another puzzle, the one to get the password to the quarters room with the locked door. The open-the-safe puzzle does not have a clue hidden in the game. And to find the safe you need a card and use it somewhere.

Alright, now that I realize my initial gut instinct about he safe code was correct, I still can't figure out the correct sequence. Can anyone help me here? This is the last puzzle for me, I've already solved all the other puzzles-the safe is the only thing keeping me from finishing the game.  ::)

Tamara, thanks you a lot
I was working with the ball in the staff room, and is in the captain´s room, that means that i need the password. I have read many times the Art of Interrogation but nothing results for me when I talk with the gay.
I am playing for years this AGS games and never results for me with hide the questions so I tried to write them the most hidden possible.
I suppose that is because I am from the other continent and the keyboard is different...for this reason I didn't answer your mail, that I received very happy!
Really I am Chilean and now we are celebrating our bicentenary of our independence!

You're welcome :) Happy celebrations.

For the ball:
Spoiler
Sorry I probably used the wrong room name. You need to do something with the ball in the first room, where the TV is

For the password:
Spoiler
Write down the text of the art of interrogation. Circle the 'mood' words (like kind, agressive, cunning). When you talk to Thurg you can compare the words with what he's saying. I'm sorry I played the game in test phase and I don't remember the sequence, but if you write it down it should be possible :)

Good luck!

Eli

I just finished the game... I liked it very much

Thanks you for all your help

Wersus

Hi,

Seeing that many people are having problems with the puzzles, I just wrote a personal log of Bingler that works as kind of a walkthrough. For many puzzles it doesn't give a straight answer, but hopefully enough hints to solve them.

The log can be found here: http://www.evergrim.com/wfhints.php

PS. I currently don't have access to the game, so I wrote this thing off the top of my head. If there's any mistakes or weirdness, feel free to contact me.
