I looked at my walkthrough, do you mean where it says "its time to make it a day" That just means its time to finish for the day and you leave the newspaper building and I assume you then start day 2.

when you go into hints and clues forum, you are on page one....... there are many past pages in this(look at bottom of the page) so I say go to page 2 and there are other peoples questions and answers to this game.
