i'm playing Ben Jordan case #2 and i can ony get to the place outside the mine and the place with the buildings and the guy's wife's house
i also can't find Malt or molt (however its spelled) for the old timer's moon shine drink someone please help

Get a beer and cook it in the fire in the empty building with the "still" in in it. It comes out malt. If that does not work, try crunching up the corn and put it in the bowl and then in the fire. It has been a little while since I have played the game but I know it goes something like that.
