Has anyone finished quest for colours

If so where do i get a sword at to get the clay?

I'm far from finishing it...but I have the sock full of water, leaf, paper, parchment, stethoscope, smouldering stick and hay, and I've not a clue as to where to go next. Anyone know what to do in the room with the shocking force field? The tip was "attend to where to step" but I can't get any of my inventory items to interact with the tree-half.

I'm stuck where you are did you get the clay? I cant figure out how?  what do you do in the mist

From what I've read on other posts, you first have to get a sword to remove the clay from the hut. Something to do before defeating Jar or something of the sort. (I think he's the guy behind the blinking eye in the cave.) Not sure where/how to get a sword though.

I've walked over to the mist but I can't interact with anything. Same with the forest.

I swear I've clicked on everything with all the items in my inventory and I'm getting nowhere....where's the guy who made the game? Wish he'd help us out.

Um, guys you should use the interface which hides the spoilers so no one who hasn't beaten the game yet gets any information that they want to find out for themselves.

UPDATE: Just got an email back (sure was fast feedback!) and I was told to try the following

use the smouldering hay on the eye in the cave

It took me a few clicks around the area to get the inventory item to work with it, but once you do, you will get a

tear from the eye in the cave, which will give you the salty water you need with the other water in the sock

Well... I just finished it, sort of... which is to say, I gave up and cheated by using a hex editor to peek at the game text for some of it... but I don't think I would ever have been able to finish this game without doing that.

[EDIT: Or without doing a more thorough search of the forums, I guess, since I've since realized the solutions to all the puzzles I "solved" with the hex editor are on the forums somewhere anyway...]

Anyway, I should have a detailed walkthrough up at http://www.agagames.com/agswalkthroughs/index.php later today, for anyone who's still stuck on it.

Can somebody tell me how to get out of the first room ??!! I'm sure it's really simple and I'll fell like an idiot when I find out what it is.I can't think of anything that I haven't tried.
