Where do I get the flower?
I have the coin but where is the gum?
How do you open thel desk in classroom and is it necessary?
What about the filing cabinet?
I try using the invisible ink on the beaker but I need something else before? what ?
I seem to be going around in circles and I don't know where I have to go first (house, museum, school, church, manor)? I have tools but don't really know when or where to use them.
Tools: sponge, steak=dog, coin, invisible ink, toothpicks, axe,

flower is in park (you can get to it because you have the axe-us the axe on something else in park)
gum is on church door
you can only open the "student" desk on the right
forget the file cabinet
search the books in the school library for the recipe of ingredients to put in beaker-it falls out of a book. (when looking at the books, keep looking again and again because there are 2 places in which the book changes each time you look)

Aicram and Tina, I think you're both stuck on the same puzzle. You need to do something in the museum.

Open the window and throw the vase out. There is an exit to the right outside the museum where you can pick it up.
How do I get past the museum man to find the vase and coin. I need either money or a voucher and Ive looked everywhere and can't find either. also why won't the dog eat the steak and how do I pull the switch on the control panel. I,ve been going round in circles.

Where,s AJ's Mum? I haven't come across her yet.

You will find the voucher near his mother.
As for the dog and the panel, I am still working on that.
i've used the axe on bernie, the hut, the chimney, and the tv set, nothing happens. when i use the axe on the trees, my game freezes. can any one give me a hint?

Same thing here. My game keeps freezing. But I wonder if it's because I went back too late to the park to get the flower, it is dark and the guard tells me I cannot go in until morning.
I think I will restart the game and get the flower earlier in the game. Hopefully this will work and my game will not freeze.

Interact with the hose in your back yard and use the mug you picked up *somewhere* inside (I don't really remember exactly where) on the mud, then go in the kitchen and warm it in the microwave.
You should now be able to get into the park. Then you can:

In the lab, how can I make the potion without water and bowl/container?
How do I get in church. The dog will not take the steak (which I am sure that I have to give him) so what am I missing ?

Go back home, check the bathroom. Something absorbent.. that'll hold water... from the sink there...
Did you check the books in the library already? You'll need something from one of them, a recipe. Make sure you check the three desks there for the children that were in that first school room, if you haven't already.

Hope so too. Thanks. Stupid me I thought of the bathroom but did not go back. Plus I've had the sponge since the beginning. I will try it. and Yes I did get recipe that's how I knew I needed boiling water. I hope I don't need a container for water on the beaker.

I've managed to release Mrs Derby but still can't open door. I've tried the things I've got and pressing buttons but nothing works. Am I missing something I should have oicked up before?

i have used the axe on the log in park took the firewood and made a bridge across the water but i cant find the flower the screen doesnt scroll any further can anybody help me please?
When you say 'the screen doesn't scroll any further', where is the bridge on the screen? It should be around the middle, with the flower in the grass to the left - if not, it sounds like a bug :-\
the bridge is in the middle but no flower must be a bug i will try again, can i still finish the game without it?

I have a magnet from the frig. but it doesn't open the kitchen door. No other magnet comes off the frig door.
I used the magnet with the string in the sewer in front of house to get ticket. How do I open the kitchen door????

in the museum there are a number of displays. Look at all of them. There is a display called the iron maiden. Interact with it 3 times and a coin should fall off the top of it

I answered my own question. lol
I was having a pixel problem. The area only wanted to register as bunsen burner. I had to fool with it a bit to find the spot for beaker. ;D
