get the black magic book from the library, then build the welder detector out of the scissors, the apron, the mask, and the machete. his body is in the bathroom. pick it up, take it to the trophy room, lay it down, destroy the welder detector and clothe the body. give simone the rifle and jim the teddy.

I've done the whole thing with the bear, the salt and the bed and its led me into the kitchen. I've clicked everywhere with the pickax...but nothings working. Where exactly do I have to use the pickax?

Hi!
I love this game but I too am stuck in the basement. I have read evrything, looked at and talked to every one (following the w/thru) and I can't get our little burgler to pick at the "area" he just won't!
Is it me or do I just keep clicking for days?
I have reloaded and started over and everything else I could think of.
Lost lost.

If you are stuck in the basement don't despair.  I went around in circles for a few days before someone helped me out.  If I remember correctly, use the 'stick' and point it to the floor.  It is somewhere not too far from the right wall.

The game is a bit tricky in a few parts, and after getting desperately stuck a couple of times, I had to refer to a walkthrough and managed to finish the game okay.

That isn't a bug. Your supose to dig with your hands and not with a tool. This is a mistake in the walkthrugh.

If you are in the kitchen, you smash the wall to the left.

If you are in the basement, it's the floor, not the wall.

clicked on wall..clicked on wall with pick axe in kitchen...cant get through it...it doesnt even pop up saying that you can click on the wall....hhmmm....

Brett, as far as I know, you must read the map of the property before Trilby will even know to break through the wall.

I have to replay this game one more time.

Wow, just finished it and the sequel, what an awesome game, I liked the ending of the first one better, the second one felt a bit anti-climatic.
