5 days a stranger technical problem

I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum, but as the technical forums seem to be more about developing games...

I don't know how I'm supposed to look at my inventory in 5 days a stranger. I don't see a button for it - in fact, I only have the walk, look, talk and interact buttons. For saving, loading or quitting a game I press F5, F6 etc.

I have tried changing my resolution, in case something is dissapearing behind the edge of the screen but I can't get it lower than 640/480 (I use windows2k).

Any ideas?

I think that the right mouse button brings out the inventory menu.
