I have stopped the tank. Talked to everyone. I can't open the vault and i can't beat the d... robot

What site did you visit for hints?  I went to a site and didn't really get too much further after reading his hints.  I can't seem to do anything but fly around and not help anyone except for that little girl.

Can anyone tell me how I get the evidence I need to open that door behind the huge robot. I killed him and now I can't get in because I need some evidence. I talked to the guy at the university already but nothing happened there.
