Hints for Spooks

Hi,

Anyone who's played Erin Robinson's game "Spooks"? It's another game posted on the xii game site (by Vince Twelve, author of "Anna").

Not to give too much away, but:

I've already gotten information about the secret of the fountain from both the demon at the entrance and the fallen angel. I've also gotten the vision from the crystall ball and spoken with the 3-headed invisible monster.

All I've got now is a bowl of ash, a string of lights, a lit candle, my bonebag, and the fish. What should I do to tip the crown over?

Perhaps your character needs to learn a little bit more.  I'd try some light reading...

There is a book in the room were you have find the candle.The book is brown.maybe you can distract the monster so you can read the book.Maybe you can burn something in that room?

Does name dropping count when they get your name wrong?

Hopefully these hints will get you where you need to be.  You're super-close to being able to solve the puzzle.
